Finally a new book, I can't wait! It sounds like one theme will be political paranoia which is great, but I think Gibson really zeroed in on what causes cultural change when he mentioned Ipods.
I've tried now several times but "500 characters" wasn't enough to explain that last statment. So go read Huxley, Marshall McLuhan, or Neil Postman.
I like how Gibson said he hopes the book will "cheer people up". I dont' know if he's being insightful or irreverant, but that was my favorite part.
