  • He should have starred in a James Bond movie!

  • In real life the albanians would have kicked his ass. rroft shqiperia

  • @konstantia33 no because they are fucking ugly idiots

  • liam neeson is a fucking beast in that film, kicks so much albanian ass

  • did anyone notice this video's sound is only hearable on the left? it's not my headhpones, it's only this video, hears only on the left...

  • Daniel Craig, Matt Damon, Tom Cruise, and Chuck Norris would all piss themselves around Liam Neeson.

  • She said what i've been thinking!!!! Who needs Daniel Craig when you have this amazing stud??!?!?! Man I love Liam!

  • I don't know who you are but if you don't let my daughter go.. i will find you.. and i will kill you.. | the most memorable quote" from that film ever !

  • His voice is so menacing... like... a don't mess with me kind of voice. For some reason I don't hear the Irish accent a whole lot.

  • Nice!

  • I want Liam Neeson to narrate my life...his voice is beautiful.

  • His voice is almost as good as Morgan Freeman's. Probably will be as he gets older. I can't believe this is a month before his wife died.

  • I liked the Bourne films very much. I like Taken very much. Hope the producers make more films with Liam Neeson's character as in the film 'Taken', and I believe I'm not alone to think so. The directors are also awesome in these films and the Dirty Harry films for example. There are so many action films around, but these here mentioned films are good, very good. Want more of characters made of the same stuff as Harry Callahan and Liam in this film.

  • One friend sent a sms about this film. It was great! And it was terrible.

I saw a documentary on TV that in the UK Albanian gangsters control the trafficking market in the UK. Can EU accept that? Poor girls from East Europe and other girls. It's so, so, sad.

  • the irish james bond...kinda ironic because the original james bond was scottish...wait that's not ironic at all...lol

  • @dustinrlawrence YOU FAIL AT LIFE

  • @RandomArrictine Oh i'm so hurt now...YOU FAIL AT INSULTING ME...LMFAO....hahaha=D

  • @RandomArrictine "so?" so try harder asshole...i didn't say a fuckin thing to insult you in the first place, then you go and insult me...and for what? to tell me "so?" when i insult me back....so....pfffffff....epic fail...loser=D

  • @RandomArrictine "so?" haha..ok...epic fail

  • @dustinrlawrence pierce brosnan is irish

  • It's men like this I love to select on my top list as mentors and how i'd wanna turn out to be when i reach their age...cuz the personality and character they have is just mind-blowing...such a calm and deep vibe that they have which hypnotizes you.

And Liam is one of the best cuz of his super-cool voice which brings in more style to his personality.

    LIAM KEEP ON ROCKING!!

  • He has the coolest voice in the world

  • watch batman begins. he's epic in that movie

  • so mortified for your one at the start who says Liam's like the Irish James Bond. You can just see the look of "..." on his face. class

  • 1 of the best films iv seem let her go or i will eletricute ur nipples haha

  • Look up michael collins the movie, he was great in that!!

  • Liam Neeson: UNICEF Ambassador.

When negotiations fail... you know someones gonna get a throat strike.

  • he's so cute :3

  • Hehe, that's how my grandad sounded when he came to America. He was from Antrim Ireland, his wife from Aberdeen, Scotland and she was of a much thicker accent but they were great and I miss them.

  • His voice fits his role in Taken perfectly :)

  • He has a lovely voice. =]

  • 10 people got their asses kicked by Liam Neeson

  • I think liam neeson is a perfect actor in my opinion.

  • just watched the movie....i mean, how more badass can you get? he just nailed it

  • One of my top 5 actors! Fucking amazing guy.

  • Liam Neeson=The new Brand Pit...

  • Irish actor, French movie great mix.

the Luc Besson movies are great.

  • hes northern irish, big difference lol

  • I don't get why Taken did not get more publicity that it got, it is one of the best movies that I have ever seen

  • @YamiRazgriz The reason is that it touched on truth of the influence of the Albanian Muslim mafia that has spread unabated throughout Europe. If the film was about Homosexuality, refugees as poor victims etc it would get 5 stars and more publicity. I watch it on DVD every few months.

  • Vote up if you agree he'd make a great Julius Caesar.

  • Awesome actor!!!

  • Yeah, if he was abit younger he would suit for a James Bond's role.

  • one of my fav actor right here

  • Hold on.... HE'S QUI GON JINN WHAAAAATTT????

  • @canibusLE2 And he taught Batman!

  • One of the very few actors who have wielded both lightsabers and broadswords (twice, Rob Roy and Excalibur). Maybe the only one?

  • I love this movie it's all about being a father. I miss my father

  • I hope he is ready to play Julian Assange!!!

  • Poor Liam. Mentioned his wife in this interview, as she was still alive then I take it. :( RIP

  • @Euroland07 I know, heart breaking.

  • i just love the way he talks his voice everything

    is he really irish??

  • @boysdontcryz he has an irish accent. what does that tell you?

  • the jedi from ballymena

  • A man's man!What a lovely accent.

  • "You're like the Irish James bond."

    emm, Pierce Brosnan is Irish.

  • @ninman58 and he was the best bond

  • @ninman58 HAHAHAHAHA

  • @ninman58 He would be a convincing James Bond impersonation

  • he sounds just like my principle from ballymena

  • I love his voice. He's a great actor, but his voice can't be surpassed.

  • @Padme4u Couldn't agree with you more.

  • british and irish actors are the best.

  • @84Spanish yea jason statham

  • i wish he was my dad

  • the way he says "particular MOOOVES" is just awesomeee because he brought out the irish in him

  • It's not the Irish James Bond... The Irish Jason Bourne would be more appropriate

  • What a great actor as well as a gentleman. When he was talking about his family, I felt so sad, especially the passing of his wife. He deserves all the best

  • i live in ireland i met him befor he is really tall

  • Unfortunately, I missed this when it came out in 2008, but it is a masterfully made action movie whose underlying theme is simply a father's devotion to his daughter. And its genuine happy ending (after the father overcomes a seemingly hopeless situation) is a truly memorable one.

This is definitely in my Top 5 of all action movies! Lang lebe Liam Neeson!

  • Damn! hes cute!!! I can see a hint of Ryan Stiles in him! hahah :)

  • 0:34 - Look at his eyes, remind you of a certain someone? Does Popeye ring any bells for anyone?

  • @mattcroxford nah...he missing chubby cheeks, gums and pipe...the lazy eye maybe the result of heart problems, it is a common affliction arfta a stroke. i aint sayin it is the case for liam but just maybe

  • @reignclaw Well my friend, you've both ruined my joke and blown the possibility of it's truth right out of the water. Damn.

  • I love his voice, his face, he makes me feel calm and yet he makes my heart beat out of my chest. He is the very best actor I know.

  • Why does his accent seem like American?

  • just watched it earlier..man this is the kind of movie i'm looking for..hehehe..the thrill, excitement and action are all here..just like eagle eye, i think..hehe

  • @ThePedroMagdadaro i agree. the movie is absolutely sick.

  • More Movie plsss... more break... Long Live Mr Liam ....

  • James Bond's actor was Pierce Brosnan who is Irish so technically James Bond is Irish.

  • @PostalDude245 No... James Bond, the fictional character is British. It is irrelevant which actor plays the character.

  • @PostalDude245 And besides that Pierce Brosnan wasn't the first or only James Bond actor...

  • @DisturbedAidan2 I know but Pierce Brosnan's James Bond was probably the most common and/or famous out of all of them. When people think of 007 they think of Pierce Brosnan right off the bat.

  • @PostalDude245 you likely think of peirce brosnan cuz you are most likely under 24 yrs old... i would wager the most ppl think of sean connery right off the bat and for the record liam neeson is better than both of them

  • @PostalDude245 Nope. Sean Connery defines the James Bond character.

  • Neeson has no where near the artistic cred as Daniel Day Lewis.

  • Another Mindless Violent Movie. You can keep it.

  • @STHFGDBY haha...who r u? a mother?

  • @silverstar352 No, I just detest gratuitous violence violence in movies. You think that it is a macho thing to like violent movies do you ?

  • @STHFGDBY first of all, it's an action film of course it's gonna have violence...

Second, why r u even watching this if u obviously hate it? It's people like u that ruin it 4 everyone.

  • @silverstar352 First I have to watch it first to form an opinion. You cant make an omelette without cracking the egg open. And 2nd , why are you pissed because I don't share the same view as you ? 3rd, Explain how I ruin it for others for forming an opinion on the movie, do you feel the same about those who are in the movie review business? Do those people ruin it for you and others if they review a movie and express negative views on them. Get real, you sound like an ass posting that to me.

  • @STHFGDBY U havnt watched it yet ur criticizing it? News flash: critics watch the film first. Why r u all of a sudden bein a soccermom sayin it's mindless violence wen u havnt watched it yet. It's not a fucking opinion to say it's mindless.

  • @silverstar352 What I've seen so far is enough to form an opinion. If you cant' handle that then your a child with childish views. And pardon me if I just didn't say ''I don't like it '' Well I must be careful how I express myself in case ( Horror of Horrors ) you don't respect me for it. Grow up, you sound like a spoil brat.

  • @STHFGDBY Look,I'm not trying to start an argument. Maybe if u said "I don't like it" I wouldve respected ur opinion

  • @STHFGDBY Agreed. The fight choreography was decent but it is mindless in that it lacked soul. And it lacked absurdity. I like action films that are absurd like the new Expendables movie looks good in that it's so over the top that it can't be taken seriously.

  • James

  • Rob Roy one of the best

  • I need help as an independent filmmaker, if anyone would care to help in a small way please search "Brozeiy's activist flick"

  • there was already an irish james bond

  • @MrHopeTelevision Doesn't mean there can't be another...who, anyway?

  • DAD!

  • Look how content and secure he is when he mentions his wife...this is only a month before she died, and of course it was a complete accident, so he was still counting on her being there when his two sons are older...what a tragedy, I feel so bad for him....I hope he's dealing with his grief in a healthy way...

  • fallout 3

  • Liam Neeson would actually have been a great Batman Bruce wayne

  • I need to get my eyes checked, I thought this said "ASS TAKEN INTERVIEW". And being a pervert for Liam, I clicked on it

  • He looks so uninterested. Easy role my ass, haha i would like to see her try and play a wife.

  • this guys definitely on my top 10 badass actors ever up there with samuel, bruce, sly, and arnold.....

  • Oh god, Dad. I turned on the Purifier, just for you ;_;

  • legend!!

  • I've never seen any other actor having greater acting skills than Liam! I love every single movie he stars in and Taken belongs to the ones I could never get enough of! He did such a great job in this movie! I take my hat off to you, Liam! :)

  • One of my all time favorite actors...

  • for some reason, in my ears, nicholas cage and liam neeson sound like twin brothers or sumfn

  • Haha you can hear the irish in him. What a great actor for such a great movie.

  • awesome movie and one I will watch again and again...and again.

Much better than Jason Bourne movies.

    Good luck!

  • Taken was THE movie.

  • he's so fucking hot!!

  • I haven't seen Liam Neeson working with Jeremy Irons since The Mission.

They should work together again :)

  • He is good:)

  • he plays his part so good, such a good film, love it !!!!!

  • You are an awesome fighter Liam, like I mean, the best I have seen, it didn't even look like martial arts either, it was like, straight up ass kicking I mean, you were so quick like incredibly quick. Your awesome in TAKEN and that is my favourite movie.

  • liam neeson is gunna play lionheart in a warriors movie!! [thats wut kgb said] hes got that deep rich voice for a "Lion"

  • can someone upload the full movie of taken on youtube pleasee

  • It'd just get taken down straight away :(

  • FIGHT SCENES WITH BROAD SWORDS AND LIGHTSABERS? GOD, IF ONLY ALL OF US COULD BE SO LUCKY! Looking forward to seeing Liam as honest Abe!

  • Liam Neeson did hell of a good job on voice acting in fallout 3. at first i could't tell if it was him.

  • He was so humble and quiet while talking to such annoying people.

  • What kind of martial art do he use? Wing Chun? Looks like it....

  • It's called Nagasu Do.

  • How come he lost his Irish accent?

  • his accent is still there. In Ireland/England/Scotland in different regions there are different accents. So some are very strong and some are weak

  • @Grillinnap because he's from Northern Ireland (owned by England) and the Nothern Irish accents arn't as strong as in the Republic of Ireland :)

  • No, our accent in Northern Ireland is just as strong as the ones in the South. A lot of us change it a bit when we speak to English speakers outside Ireland so that they can understand us...

Northern Ireland isn't "owned" by England. Thank God.

  • He didn't totally use it...

  • There is no word that can describe the poor attitude toward human life that these predator show. I don't understand the about how the movie exploits sex trafficking. It shows what happens and it does happen. Those non emotional animals should be killed. They wait at airports and other transportation facilities and exploit the innocent women coming through. Isn't there a group of mercenaries around from the various wars like Vietnam who could take care of those low life asses, just kill them.

  • I agree! I am a Buddhist so to take life is against my religion, but I swear: If I find one of these ass holes I am going to kill them! And that is not something I take lightly, I hate all bad people who rob, rape and kill. They should not exist!

  • 80KingFu, I follow the 10 Commandments. "Thou Shalt Not Kill," means that no one is to plot and plan to take the life of another. That doesn't include defending ones self, family, country etc. But, anyone who deliberately takes the life of another in the above manner should be killed themselves. I could do it, I'm not saying it wouldn't bother me but people who treat others like those women in Taken are treated are lower than low and should be dead. Thanks for your comment 80KungFu

  • Not to offend, but it actually says, "Thou Shalt Not Murder."

  • Ronnock, no offense taken but the way the 10 Commandments were given to Moses Commandment 6. reads, "Thou shalt not kill," see Exodus 20:13 and Deuteronomy 5:17. Most modern translations of the Bible changed it to "murder" to correspond with the taking of a human life not the killing of animals or plant life for good; however, the killing of animals should be done humanely without mistreatment or torture.

  • That should be for "food" not good. And I'm referring to the Kind James version of the Bible.

  • Can't type these days, that should be King James not Kind James.

  • How does one kill something humanely? The act of taking the life of anything is going to be brutal.

Well in my bible and many others, it says "Never Murder."

  • (1 of 3)Ronnock, have you seen the movie on HBO titled Temple Grandin? If not try to watch it, it's very enlightening and inspirational. Temple is the woman born in the 1950's with autism. She is also the woman who invented the equipment that is used in most of the beef slaughter houses now here in North America. Nature is brutal and vicious like in the wild where the animals kill each other.

  • (2 of 3)Since we eat cattle and they must to be slaughtered, we owe them some respect in how we do it and Temple invented a more "humane" way of slaughtering them. I don't know what Bible you are reading where you see "murder," it must be one other than the King James. The King James is the one people should refer to, I know there are modern translations, it might be in the New English translation.

  • (3 of 3)Now that we have DNA testing and after a person has been proven either innocent or guilty of murder and the death penalty has been the judgment it should be inforced. Instead we lock up the murderers and our taxes support them for years while they file their appeals. I think we should go back to hanging. Race, religion and politics are volatile subjects and I don't want to continue this, you believe what you want and I'll do the same.

  • It actually costs us more in tax dollars to kill a man, than it is to keep them for life in prison.

I do coincide with the belief of respecting the animal's sacrifice for you to live. However, there is still no real "humane" way to kill something. It's going to be nasty, disturbing, and brutal. I don't think you're going to want to lethally inject something that you're going to eat.

You're right about my bible, I don't believe it to be the King James addition.

  • oooooh his voice is soooo sexy

    :)

  • The Serbs want you to be happy with them and their cultural achievements - sales of drugs and human trafficking

  • He's a great actor. His performance in Schindler's List will be legendary forever. And i'm so sorry that he lost his beautiful wife. They to me always seemed like one of the most genuine hollywood couples. He's manly and handsome too, I like that.

  • He also did an amazing job in Les Miserables...simply one of the best actor of all time...

  • .. HE HAS AN IRISH ACCENT?!?!?!?!?!

  • maybe because he's irish?

  • @LeeKnees Haha

  • you are retarded

  • yeah you're right I'm retarded in the end this is just a stupid hollywood movie why do I have so many expectations?

it's all about the main actor and how "cute" he is

"ooh he has such a sexy voice"

  • I personally felt that it exploited the issue of sex trafficking. Anyone who could see beyond the action should have the motivation to do something about it because of how bad and serious the issue is. My biggest disappointment was the end. How can the daughter just move on from something like that? doesn't make any sense. Also, there was no hint of the main characters wanting to get involved with the issue farther.

  • It's a french film.

  • great actor

  • he's so gorgeous xx and the voice.......

  • Albanian maffia cool.

  • i love your voice liam!!!! great movie!!!!!

  • totally...and frantic with harrison ford of course

  • Liam neeson is so sexy for his age. LOL xD

  • Was this interview before or after his wife passed away?

  • Before, He's says," My my wife and I will around 2:05. Very sad!

  • this is after becuz he lost her at 33 so sad

  • Same difference....ROFL, Just kidding, just kidding

  • Who said he was Scottish?? He's Irish, man! IRISH! Well....Northern Irish but STILL IRISH! Antrim, to be precise!

  • I like this guy..
