You know it's even cooler on cube, but you would have to import I guess. That's all I ever use daily. The bugs are the exactly the same, only ps2 version is a little fast, and cube is more arcade acurrate. By far the best home version of MK2 and MK3 ever released TO DATE!

Also I recieve my package 2day and I ordered tha MK9 tournament edition for tha PS3 and man it looks nice and it feels great too and this arcade joystick is tha BEST one out there and I wish Street Fighter sticks were like this but they r not, to me they look CHEAP and this is why I had to buy tha MK9 edition. :) I'm so ready to learn these moves for all characters and kick sum ass but first I need to practice up b4 I can do sum real damage. lol :) Let me know if u bought tha stick edition too.

I c u luv ur MK games and stuff as much as I do and I use to play them back in tha day in tha arcades. :) I luv MK2 tha most so I had to go buy tha full arcade machine and I bought it a year after it was release in tha arcades and I still got it til this day! :) It's in a Pit Fighter cabinet and it has a big screen and lots of room for 2 players and i'm happy that it was in that cabinet instead but I do like tha original cabinet too.

I've got the xbox version of this, it's impossible to access SMOKE because when you hold down and push start (when you're supposed to) it pauses the game.... is it the same with this version?

The only thing that really pissed me off about the MK2 port on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 was all the shadow flickering when the characters jump.

It seems petty. But it can be very distracting to the eye when you're trying to concentrate on the match.

The thing that lets down the MK II version for MAT PS2 is that due to control mapping issues. It is therefore impossible to fight smoke. This problem again occured for the PSP version for MAT Extended play.

Since you know a lot about MK, tell me if this is a glitch: after I lose two rounds the screen acts if the opponent is doing a fatality, but the winning character does his/her victory pose and then just does an uppercut and the game counts it as a fatality. FYI; this happened in the Midway Arcade Version of MK3

Have the advantage, that you have "Free Play", which you didn´t had in the SNES Version. In the SNES Version, you had like 4 Kredits..... which sucked.

And of course: You can play online with the PSN Version of MK2.

i have the GCN version of this game, and with mk3 when you jump forwards or backwards, there is no cool spinning jump sound effect. Looks like ps2 version is the same. Not sure about the xbox version though.

Yeah I'm pretty disappointed too about Midway not including MK1 in the Midway Arcade Treasures 2, especially on the GameCube version. GCN never got a special MK Deception game like PS2 and Xbox did thus I never got to try the arcade MK1 game until I bought MAT Extended for PSP.

Ok. The installation was shit oO. The StarForce driver didn't work, so I had to update this freaking piece of shitware (I mean StarForce). After updating StarForce I had to patch the game because the music was to silent and also there is no music in the menus ... and I can't control the menus with my controller I have to use the mouse and there are more problems ...

Thank the not existing god, that I bought it on ebay and didn't give Midway any money.
