I think you need to give it a few more revs, take it up to about 9000rpm, although I reckon you hit that....lol...... Quite funny really, put in a torguer camshaft, then don't use the torque?? By you're style of driving I'd suggest fitting a strimmer engine. Vitaras, SJs, Rocstas etc are all light vehicles, I've had all of them, and still have a Vitara now, skimming which is the tecnique you're using (if there is a tecnique) is not suitable for lightweight 4x4, as you can clearly see...
To those people who are having a go at the drivers in this clip consider that vitara's don't weigh much and they don't need much tractionto get going but they lack ground clearance so lowering the tyres is a balancing act between traction and clearance.
if anyone of these AMATEUR off roaders new ANYTHING about tyres then they would have Let down the TYRES to clear the lugs & therefore giving more traction
I have the 22r motor, its from an older toyota celica gt,(currently in a 2wd dunebuggy). Im missing the mechanism to function its 2 barrel. I know it screams

Not bad for a Vitara. What mods have you done to it (engine, lockers, etc)?
