  • I find it hard to believe that society would just collapse overnight , so i think a majority of preparing by storing stuff like spam etc would be just be a waste of resources. This is will be a process that takes 30 years more. A gradual break down, living some life normalcy will be possible as the decades pass, but they as each one asses each one will get more desperate as we deplete out last remaining oil.

  • I think the shithole we all know as Mexico collapsed a few years ago. Its our thrid world neighbor to the south. Just serves as place to dump drugs into the US and allow Daddy's spolied little 18 yr old sorority whore to go party and drink alcohol at age 18.

  • I'm trying to allow myself to imagine how horrible this scenario you paint for our future is... This is our Future? Living like a bunch of wretched, Post-Industrial Barbarians, everyone reduced to the lowest level of ignorance and crudity? Reverting to barter as an economic system? Backward, Ugly, open savagery because people can't resolve their differences peaceably? The solution to every social problem: "get more ammunition for my guns"? Fuck it! I'm Gonna Shoot Myself In The Head With My 9 !!

  • @CosmicFork Why would you do that? If you did, that would only prove that you were part of the problem. All I'm doing is essentially laying out the possibilities. You prepare for the worst and hope for the best, but no, I don't think our future is necessarily the worst case scenario. It's far more likely that we'll survive, be put on a new currency system, and be saddled with a government that is far more tyrannical and controlling.

  • @CosmicFork One less person trying to steal from my self sustaining farm. Thank you!

  • @RedRollersMedia1 You don't know me from Adam's Off Ox, and you're already accusing me of stealing from you??? Jeeze... I guess I'll just block your paranoid ass, and move on to the next adventure!

  • @CosmicFork please do. It would just leave more ammo and food for the rest of us. If you can't handle it then quit before it gets bad.

  • @opeth867 You First, ASSHOLE !!!

  • I have put back cannabis seeds. Grass will have value in barter and easy to raise....

  • Collapse of Mexico lmao...

  • Dinty Moore = splatter ass! Stock up on the paper.

  • you need salt

  • Shadow Government Stats publishes the unemployment rate as calculated per the year 1980 formula before the gimmicks were introduced to keep politicians in office. The latest figure for September 2011 is 23.1%

  • The 1st Risk Mitigation point is to "Pay Off Debt". This does not make sense if you are already stressed. If hyper-inflation comes, then that is good news in one sense for borrowers since they pay back the loan in fixed dollars while those dollars are worth much less to the creditor. So creditors would call in loans as quickly as they can. It is true that in hyper-inflation, the credit system essentially collapses since the value of a dollar is dropping quickly.

  • im ready but i only got 500 bullets and a 120$ pistol and how much food do you think i should store. I got 3 months of supplys...

  • @vinmaster25

as much as you can carry. Head down to mexico.

  • Friend, money will be absolutely useless. I mean absolutely. Necessities will be the new currency... socks, coats, pain relievers, ammo, vitamins, seeds, tools, building materiel, firewood, fishing nets, batteries, portable solar panels, pet food, salt, and just about anything else you can imagine. People are people, and if we find ourselves living as we did in the 18th century, a pair of boots will have more value than gold. Gold can't protect you or keep you warm.

  • @SuperPeoplearestupid If you've entered into a lecture on the uselessness of money, then you've missed the point entirely and failed to listen closely to the content of the video.

  • @SuperPeoplearestupid

Did you just quit the video when he started talking about money or something....?

Watch the whole video and understand.

  • @rexmcnish You're right... The issue is so redundant that I failed to absorb the entire video. Excuse me. However, (un) common sense will operate under its own device, regardless of our efforts to re-formulate the particulars of our nation's collapse, and how we will survive it. Gold in and of itself has no value. Man (the Elite) has conditioned us with the idea that gold posesses a universal value, when in fact its value is purely intrinsic. Don't you see the hustle surrounding gold?

  • @veritasfiles Also, be stocked up on booze. I don't drink, but have over a pallet of various types of alcohols in my garage. I live by myself so I know nobody touches it. Humanity will always have people that "need" alcohol. And if you have any civil being left in you in the end, which I will try to, I will trade for things I need and not just kill and take what I please.

  • Alcohol and ammunition will be barter. I will use $100 bills to wipe my ass with.

  • @theboredman1 Feel free to misunderstand and therefore, misrepresent if you like. Enjoy the burn.

  • @veritasfiles It is not usually my style to voice my disagreements, but I am saying this because you are a good guy. You are trying to help people by putting videos of what you think is best to do, and I appreciate that.

But really think about it. If all hell breaks loose and it is "every man for himself," the 3 main things one needs to worry about is water, food, and weapons. Weapons are the only thing that stands between you and them. Water and food is for the obvious.

  • @UltmtSniper Agree but grow alot of corn lol

  • Why would you want to pay off all debt?

Especially as your audience seems to be people without even $2k savings.

I don't get that at all.

Seems to me-- if the system is going to crash YOU WANT to OWE money.... and not be owed money.

    Please explain.

Recently, I got $12k cash in hand for when the bank close &/or chaos starts.

Obviously it is NOT a good asset BUT.... it's better than NOT being able to get to it, if it were left in a bank.

South American is looking better and better ....now.

  • Why would you want to pay off all debt?

I don't get that at all.

  • @energyfinance you are quite right! the correct way is to load your cards to the limit get good supplies. Then look up Sovereign Trust or go to dollarpages*org to learn about debt elimination. NOT FORECLOSURE OR BANKRUPTCY this is RARE INFO!!!! bank cannot prove it entered into a legal contract cuz they bring no value to the table, basic business law, both parties must bring value, they just type 0's in the computer, Sovereign takes your debt and then sues them for fraud and split with u 60 / 40

  • @SprayOClockNews

I understand Fractional Reserve Banking and I know about the need for there to be 'consideration' in an agreement. That IS NOT what I am referring to here.

My wife and I have 15 year mortages fixed at 4.25% on two properties we own, the other are free and clear.

Mercedes payment is $720.00 per month @ 2.99%

We have zero credit card debt each month as we pay for what we spend without incurring any interest charges.

I have NO INTEREST in doing what you suggest as I am ......

  • @SprayOClockNews

    continued.....

I have NO INTEREST in doing what you are suggesting as I intend to follow through with what I agreed upon.

Living in this manner has worked for me thus far therefore I shall continue to proceed this wat in the future.

I am not interested in gaming the system so that I can take (some will call it 'steal') what is not mine AND feel okay about it. My interest is live by my values best I can.

How you want to live is your business alone, unless it harms me.

  • @energyfinance bro, that is NOT gaming the system [which is actually gaming you] you stated you had a mortgage, well, on average, people pay for 4 homes to own 1! If that is cool with ya, so be it. I don't play that game. They LOSE NOTHING if people default since the brought nothing to the table to lose. This is perfectly legit and only ONE BANK does it! Banking systems engineer John Turmel used to have a package called how to stiff the banks, he is noted for ....

  • why would have cash in an economic collapse?????? SILVER OR GOLD will be the ONLY safe way of keeping money along with essentials of fuel food and security

  • @rpo11234

It seems silly to have cash when there is an economic collapse

yet, having some cash will prove to be a smart move.

For example: Let's say someone owns one or more condos in a building where you already own one or more.

You know what rents are in the building, and the entire building is occupied. The building seems to be a solid real estate investment in many ways.

That I have $10k, $20k, $40k.... (ie chunks of cash on hand) may enable me to do a win-win, great deal quickly.

  • @energyfinance the world record in number of govs contested. i spoke with him on the phone he has tons of vids on here and his open source software is used locally around the globe and he was instrumental in getting argentina's inflation from over 1000% to double digits in a big hurry by local implementation of his software. All it takes to start a new system is agreement from enough locals, and 250,000 to 500,000 in the bank for everyone and a monthly income, people are understanding this....

  • @energyfinance i am hoping to do this where i live! ;-) website already functional BankofBC*com

once i learned that banks have been screwing us for soooo long and our taxes go in their pockets and they are poisoning us with chemtrails i said screw them! i'm going for the record in getting people to flip the banks the bird and get 100 of times the balance of their loan back as a reward, precedents have been set. this is called knowing how to navigate the system THE RIGHT WAY. legally and fair

  • Sustainability isn't easy to achieve in good times. It's almost impossible after a collapse. Biospharms are the way to go. Permaculture along with smart Eco systems in a tropical country off the grid is the best place to ride this out or wait on the return. Either way have a plan before the SHTF. sub to Biospharms

  • i ll download wikipedia ;) just in case.

  • I think we will be seeing massive inflation so keeping money in cash isn't a good idea, gold and silver would be the way to go in this scenario. Some say that there might be deflation, I however think that that is extreme unlikely as the FED will, I believe, keep printing money until its worthless in an attempt to keep this bubble economy afloat.

  • @titan13131 just read some of your replies on inflation, seems u do endorse buying silver so ignore my comments =)

  • @titan13131 No problem.....keep stackin'!

  • I have about 25 gallons of used synthetic motor oil. It is a waste product but I am sure I could used it for a lot of survival applications.

  • @robertmark34 It's probably not likely that you can make it appear, you left town. That would take some exceptional preparations, and it would invite people to scavenge at your home first. Not a good idea. You simply want to keep things well hidden and lose weight with the rest of your neighbors. Also, I'm not envisioning anyone keeping huge amounts of fuel in their home. I'm thinking for small containers, or just enough to get you to a safe or bugout location. I make the danger clear.

  • Bullets and beans, all I see on this video. Laughable.

Get some of the testosterone out of your system boys. Learn some about pre-industrial communities and you'll learn how to survive with no more than a few coal or wood burning heaters and a nice comfy cabin. Guns? What you gonna do... load your own bullets? Shoot the other guy? Certainly no need to use them to hunt, especially the idiot shotguns and pistols I am seeing. Food does NOT grow in cans btw.

  • @TheValkarth Sounds like you're not in touch with reality. If you can't see the need for basic food stores during any possible transition and various means of self-defense and hunting, then there isn't much I can do for you. Sorry.

  • @veritasfiles he he he only if their were a nice and small store that had food guns ammo water and gas and vehicle and armour in huge amounts omg imma go find a store like that and move by it then i'll allways be ready if SHTF

  • 2000 dollars of cash is adequate? No it's not. The dollar will be worth as much as toilet paper. Don't save cash! Buy silver!

  • @cptnsmelly I'm specifically talking about for the short-term transition period. There will be days, weeks, and possibly even months where many Americans won't be able to let go of the idea that their paper still has value, even though it doesn't. During that time, it's very possible you'll be able to procure things with that money. Don't close off your options, but yes...buy Silver!

  • @cptnsmelly and gold, and copper

  • @danielcoppock Can I come? I am techically an american (I don't have American blood at all, I'm Spanish-Mexican) but I promise not to be fat, stupid, or ignorant of the rest of the world. Oh and if American accents are a bother, I will speak with an English accent!

  • @danielcoppock

il be hiding in the krazyhouse

  • Since the earthquake, northern Japan has been facing extreme shortages of water, food, medicine, and electricity supplies, but they hardly resort to violence, let alone guns. They respect each other's need and spontaneously try to maintain the balance of fair shares between themselves. Their general ethics gives precedence to killing themselves for others over murdering others for themselves.

  • @mirandansa Too bad I don't live in Japan huh? I sure hope things turn out that way here, but our ethics are almost non-existant, young people have ZERO respect for authority, and we are quickly losing our natural affections. I believe in being a realist when it comes to life, and the reality is that Americans will not respond well to their standard of living suddently dropping through the floor and into the basement. I'm hopeful that it will be temporary, but we just can't know.

  • @mirandansa I REALLY like what you've said and I completely agree but I also think as things get harder and people start to TRULY starve in large numbers that goodness will diminish. I wish it wouldnt but even people like you and I, who truly believe in dying for someone else rather than murdering to save your own life, when tested (literally watch a child of yours slowly die from starvation as "rich" people sit on their massive stockpile of food storage) i think our views and actions might chng

  • @mirandansa that worked great in Japan where honor is common. like the guy said Americans dont have that anymore. Look at what happened in Katrina. Rape gangs, looting, killing, and anything else you can think of.

  • why is paying off debt important? convert that shit into gold or silver

  • Thank you for posting. I'm gonna have to disagree with you on saving dollar bills. Dollar bills will be worthless. You need to convert that money into hard assets such as gold and silver. I would also suggest collecting copper pennies before 1982 and nickles for they have real value.

  • @mkim1114 ANOTHER SMARTY!!! alot of people have been theorizing (is that a word?) that any coins and dollars predating something like 1967 will still be worth something as a general understanding of fiat currency comes to light and I believe thats the date money stopped being backed by gold or metal so it still has "value". not in my eyes though, paper money is as good as kindling even the old stuff

  • I appreciate the video!

I've started a facebook group called

    The domino effect USA

I'm trying to build a community where people cam get tips for preparing for the coming economic collapse.

Would you consider joining and sharing your tips and videos?

    Thanks

    LG

  • What do you recommend we do here in Australia where only criminals and cops have guns. I would love to get my hands on even a hand gun because I know that there are going to be a lot of nut cases running around when disaster strikes.

Hand to hand combat is not much good when you are attacked by a gang of dickheads. Any body know how I can get hold of a gun? I might need it one day.

  • There are some good food packets made to feed people (primarily children) in need around the world. Its a subsistance diet, but one pouch is one month and runs about $23. An active adult might use 1.5-2 pouches a month. They have been vacuum packed and have 25 essential vitamins and minerals. Im checking on the shelf life, .. easy to store and use, but the key still might be clean water !!

  • I still have my crap from 2000 stored away..... :P

  • most likely you will need at least 7 years of supply and gear, why do you think all those underground bunkers our government is building will be used for? for sure its not for us.

  • @mechanicalbu11 Maybe so, but almost no one will have 7 years worth of supplies.

  • @veritasfiles you are most likely right, but there could be a way to do this. say one stores grain and beans and vitamin C and D supplements this may be possible and to include a reduced calorie count.

  • @mechanicalbu11 The problem is the length of time. Supplements never absorb at the rate they should, and with a reduced calorie count and less healthy body, the absorption rate will get worse. In addition, virtually all supplements have real expirations and some can become toxic after expiration. The best foods to have on hand for such an extremely long period will be wheat & lentils, but those make for some very bland foods after just a few meals. I can't imagine what 7 years would be like.

  • @mechanicalbu11

Seem you completely misunderstand what an economic collapse is. When the economy goes belly up it simply means that money will no longer be legal tender. This is when money will be thrown into the streets and nobody will pick it up becacause it wont be worth anything.

  • @rev2214 but if you could collect it off the streets and send it to your bank you could pay off your mortgage with cheep money, might consider that one. it is the money of the federal reserve so your mortgage holder must except it.

  • @mechanicalbu11

Again, if the economy collapse the banks will cease to opperate since it is the economy that makes the banks function. So you will be trying to send useless money to banks that no longer exist!!

  • @rev2214 i guess the one that holds your mortgage will have all the power then. The central banks wont lose but the people will lose everything.

  • @mechanicalbu11

That's right! And this is what the end game is all about! The aim of the power brokers is to disenfranchise people to the extent that they become completely dependent. The state of dependancy can only be achieved by colapsing the economy. As we all know the more money we have the more choices we have. The less money we have the less choices we have and if we have no money at all we are left with no choice but to be completely depend on the state for our next meal!!

  • IF THIS REALLY HAPPENS...DO LOTS OF DRUGS THEN KILL YOURSELF!

  • @BlarmyArmy07 Sorry, but both of those things contradict my value system. I prefer to live, survive, and make a positive difference in the future.

  • @veritasfiles YES.

    -TEW

  • @veritasfiles

wait.. what future? lol. Everything will be eradicated, in such a world.

  • @TripleBla Who says that? I don't know anyone who things "everything will be eradicated". Sounds like you've been watching too much TV.

  • @Drumybum Yeah, I'm talking about being prepared in any circumstance and always having something liquid at all times. That's why I recommend "SOME" paper money in a bank and in your home, but the focus should be on food, water, precious metals, being out of debt, skills, etc... I'm prepared to lose the thousands of dollars I have in the bank, and I'm prepared to preserve the larger amount I'm putting into precious metals and supplies. It's about being able to respond to any situation.

  • @veritasfiles get food , weapons and get the fuck out the city ASAP FOOD, WATER AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES IS GOING TO HAVE MORE VALUE THAN GOLD TRADE FEW THING FOR EXAMPLE A HALF EMPTY BOTTLE OF COUGH SYRUP FOR A RIFLE OR SHOTGUN THAT HAS PLENTY OF AMMO. GET A CAR OR TRUCK """"DON'T TRUST ANY ONE""""" THEY COULD JUST SHOOT YOU AND TAKE YOUR THINGS HAVE PLENTY OF GAS AND TAKE A REST IN A SECLUDED PLACE.

  • @cmekill64 from what i can tell the USA is gong to be nuked in a major way all the indicators point to this final outcome.

  • @mechanicalbu11 i have a basement lol !!!!

  • somebody take this guy lights out before he starts a killing spree because he sees ghosts

  • @erdal0 What are you talking about?

  • @veritasfiles In a nutshell: You are nuts

  • nothing like a python...of curse i dont preffer a shot gun over a rifle but that is personal choice thing...now if your not a trained person (police or better yet miitary) an ar 15 / m16 weapon is good but remember you have to treat it like a prom queen not a cheap whore like the ak 47 / 74...not to mention ak's tend to be a hell of a lot cheaper and the ammo is less the half price of 556 / 223...these are great for personal / home defence.

  • @abntemplar82 I couldn't agree more. The AK is a great choice!

  • @veritasfiles true enough but i preffer my ar personally...simply becouse nowadays there are so many things i can do with it. same lower can have a 6.8 upper for hunting / long range shots. but for the average person the ak is the best for the money.

  • @abntemplar82 the AR has more parts available then other platforms you can't go wrong this an ar-15. the AK is better then not having a rifle but how are the afghan insurgents fairing with the AK platform? not good looking at the kill ratio of Americans to insurgents.

  • @mechanicalbu11 if we compare wars the ak is up on the ar unfortunetly. the biggest defeat of course was vietnam, trick is not what weapon the insurgants are carrying but rather how much they are willing to sacrifice and bleed to win. that is the trick to any war of attrition.

  • Comment removed

  • @abntemplar82 body count is the biggest lie of all when discussing wars of attrition. it makes the invaders believe they are winning when they have already lost. we have a huge body count advantage over the insurgents in the mid east. but think about it we also have air power. so we can kill hundreds at a time. now think about this, what if it was you fighting against an overpowerfull invading force? would those killed force you into submission? i can only hope and prey the answer is no.

  • yea i know just bought 5000 rnds of 22 at an auction $125.00 steal>>>>> going to buy 1 more for my sons gear and working on getting him a sig pro 2022 like mine same mags so a smart idea but still working on MBR thinking keltec su16 for the cost + they use ar mags any suggestions????

  • love the phoenix arms hp22 i own 3 they are cheap good pack guns 1 in my pack 1 in my wife's pack 1 we shoot its just cheaper than the 45

  • @dustya1982 Glad to hear it. A friend turned me on to them a few years ago, and even though it's kind of a heavy gun for its size and calibre, I love the weapon. And you're right, it's a lot more cost effective to shoot .22 than anything else. I wish more people could recognize value over name brand. Thanks for the comment.

  • Don't stock any canned foods with acid in them, tomatoes, citric fruits etc. they'll only last a short while compared to say beans

  • @TR5T spread organic heirloom food seed far and wide, its called"johnny appleseed economics"or"gorrila gardens",spread more organic food. wake up everyone,do your part!IF YOU ARE angry, get seed and make a organic revolution your way.SPREAD THE ORGANIC SEED EVERYWHERE TELL OTHERS! INCREASE THE FOOD SUPPLY RIGHT NOW WHILE WE GOT TIME!! GROW VERTICAL GARDENS IF YOU DONT HAVE THE SPACE! START NOW!SOLAR ENERGY,HAM RADIO,WATER!

AN ARMY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS STOMACH! SPREAD THIS

  • If economy collapses won't all your debts be wiped and money worthless

  • The random pics of guns and Spam really blew this vid.

  • @victimofgovernment As far as I'm aware, I included only 1 random picture, but included all of the others on purpose. If you don't like the videos, please feel free to desist from viewing them.

  • The only thing i don't get is, why do you want to pay your debt when the economy will collapse? So you die with good credit?

  • BUY PRECIOUS METEALS!!

  • Ha yeah don't forget the rum lot's of it. But the most important thing is water lots of water and to have a water filtration device. I think it's better to be safe than sorry great video veritasfiles..

  • Get out of debt in the most extreme capitalistic country in the world where everything and everyone is out to cheat you off your money as much as possible? What a joke...

  • @TheAmazingUploader If you think we're living in a Capitalist system, then you don't understand even the most basic concept of what Capitalism is. Capitalism presupposes the existence of a moral law and requires the full operation of the rule of law to protect the people against theft, fraud, and coercion. To the extent that these things are missing, you are actually experiencing a lack of Capitalism, not the othe rway around. Read "Money, Greed, and God" by Jay W. Richards

  • Really enjoy the video, any always remember the three B's: Booze, batteries and bullets.

All jokes aside, I am prepared for the Madmax world and have bought a pistol, rice, soup, beans and corn. I also have about one-hundred bottles full of water, to cook food in and drink. Also, I buy mainly canned foods that come in their own liquid. That way if I run out of cooking water I'm not entirely screwed. I also bought firewood and am saving newspapers for possible insulation/wallpaper.

  • @DMPFace Glad to hear it. Thanks for the support!

  • good vid, i would go about things differently though. and another thing, as soon as the economy collapses completely, money is 100% useless. i kinda find it funny that this is a relatively old vid haha. but ya, something big is definately on its way guys.

  • @GeetarGuy505 Yeah, this is an old vid, and the money suggestions are to be taken in the following ways:

    1) The physical money you save is for a limited transitional period.

    2) It should be understood that the physical money you save is expendable. In short, you need to be OK with losing it. That's why it's a limited amount in the first place.

    3) This is nothing more than an insurance policy to increase your odds of survival and successful transition rather than a solution that's certain.

  • @veritasfiles You want gold or some other currency rather than paper money

  • @UltmtSniper I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

  • mmmmkay

  • @yz250thatownsyou No need to comment if you're going to say nothing.

  • Keeping cash at home is futile. Rather invest in precious metals, they will do nothing but go UP !

  • @bRadicalmagic1 I think you're missing the point. Cash in the home is meant simply for the transitional period when people are still taking cash, it still has some worth, and many people and businesses have not yet realized that PM's are money. So the cash is meant for the short-term, interim, or transitional period, not as a long-term wealth preservation solution. I also argue for keeping physical gold & silver. It's not an investment though...just a way to preserve wealth (A Secure Savings).

  • @veritasfiles Gold and Silver aren't an investment? Have you seen any history lately on precious metals? Silver, Gold, Platinum and Paladium are one of the BEST investments currently available.

  • @bRadicalmagic1 No, for those who understand the full scope of what we're facing it's not an investment, at least not of the time that most people think of. In other words, it's not a really a way to make money. It's a much better way of preserving money or wealthy, but not making money. And quite frankly, wealth preservation rather than money-making is the more appropriate way to look at Gold & Silver in the current context.

  • @veritasfiles "It's a much better way of preserving money or wealthy, but not making money" If you bought 4k worth of gold 10 years ago, you would have 20k today, you can buy a new car with 20k.. you couldn't have bought a new car for 4k 10 years ago.

  • @adam9a9 You're absolutely right, and I buy gold & silver with no intention of making money. I know that the purchasing power of what I buy will stay about the same give or take a little up or down, but I'm specifically looking simply to store wealth. If I make money, so be it, but that's not the intent and isn't even on the radar for me. If I never need it, I can always pass the anonymous wealth onto my children. It's a win-win.

  • @bRadicalmagic1 ammo is probobly a much better investment than gold. what are you going to do with gold when everything shuts down? that includes government, banks, emergency services, all retail stores. everything. gold doesnt mean anything to anybody when banks close down ammo does.

  • @zyesa Ammo is a good investment, just like Gold & Silver. The reason I save it is because I'm not limiting myself to a narrow period of time. The shut down of EVERYTHING, assuming there is a shutdown to quite that extent, will not last forever. At some point some kind of government, society, and market will re-emerge, even if in different form. In that context, PM's will have value in the future, and I'd rather have some & not need them than need them and not have them.

  • economic collapse can only be avoided by heavy import taxes on foriegn goods not oil and raw materials ,,and fuck china

  • @peppersdog1 Actually, that would likely precipitate the collapse, not avoid it. That would start massive trade wars, which is precisely one of the most important factors that led to the Depression in the 30's.

  • Bill are useless better silver and gold.

  • The biggest danger to the citizen is the tax collecting agencies. My only debt is property taxes. I don't have any other debts. The reality is, some day in the not distant future, an inevitable conflict awaits as my income diminishes and taxes continue rising. Citizens will soon be fighting the police and other enforcement teams, as governments desparately steal property from citizens for the sake of "public order and good".

  • Having a food storage is not a smart idea in the long run. What you also need to store is seeds. Good whole organic seeds. learn how to restore the soil. learn about crop rotations. if you go into the mountains and try to build a house and but 10 million cans of baked beans and you don't know how to live off of the soil, you're going to die and you might just end up being shot by the people who got there first.

In fact i would highly recommend you watch the movie "Collapse". expains everything

  • @reciprocity592 I've seen the movie collapse, and while I don't agree with everything in it, what makes you think that I believe food storage is a solution? Food storage is a short to medium term solution, depending upon how much you've done, but it is not a solution in and of itself. If you've watched more than just a few of my vids, you'll know that I make it clear that I think being able to feed yourself to a significant degree with heirloom crops is "MUST HAVE" skill.

  • i dunno about guns, one yes but not a whole armory!

I am thinking; how about finding a place in the nature somewhere, like a cave or a built underground room. Obviously for real crisis you cannot save only a few kilograms of canned food. You need hundreds of them +grains+vitamins/antibiotics/analgesics. I am thinking that i should start building somewhere in the woods an underground facility that can held my family for a while. All i need is dedication+shevel+lot of cement which is cheap btw.

  • @qxcontinuum I wouldn't try going overboard. If you need a bunker, then you probably won't make it anyway. All you really need is a home that is in a relatively secure location (i.e. small town, in the country). Then you need to stock that home with at least a 1 year supply of food & water (6 months) storage, water filtration equipment, and all of the things you use on a daily basis (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, trash or rubish liners, toothpaste, first aid, etc...

  • @qxcontinuum Beyond that, you need a few firearms, and I would argue that it's best to have a variety. A good pellet gun that will reach anywhere from 800 to 1,200 feet per second will take out most small game and be quiet as well. Beyond that, you need a handgun for home defense. I would certainly have a larger rifle for long-range hunting of bigger game as well. Then I would also opt for a short-barrel 12-gauge shotgun and a .22 rifle. And just follow the advice as best you can after that.

  • @qxcontinuum I think a pistol, a shotgun, and a rifle are the bare minimum to have. Crossbows can be nice too.

  • @fleckx True, there are a lot of things that would be nice, and if people can get 'em and become proficient, I'm all for it. Thanks!

  • @qxcontinuum okay....man stop bieng a coward and buy an armory and supply people do your part!

  • @qxcontinuum might as well move out the country south america or somthing..where fruit trees grow like weeds

  • @neanam I think I'll stay in my own country. There may be more fruit trees in other countries, but I have no real reason to beleive those other countries would be much safer than this one.

  • Why would you need guns?

  • @CoatedCalm The answer to that seems obvious. The first and primary reason is incase it becomes necessary to supplement your diet with wild or hunted foods (deer, raccoon, oppossum, squirrel, rabbit, etc...). The second reason is to provide for a sensible defense of your home and your loved ones from anyone who might mean to do you harm in difficult circumstances. Obviously you want this to be your absolute last option, but it is better to have & not need than to need & not have. Clear?

  • @CoatedCalm to hunt the zombies

  • get together with friends that can do useful stuff like say i cant farm worth a shit but my family has been hunters and owned guns for generations so in exchange for the security me and my friends family could work together they give us food and we protect them of course we help with the farming when needed but good advice would be to make friends aware of plans like that so they dont get themselves killed when it happens before u realize they were useful

  • look, this is all well and good, guns and food, but nobody will survive alone. People who work together to survive will be much better off. If the pole shifts or the sun blows, all of our little store rooms and spam, guns and ammo, are a total joke. whole cities will be wiped off the earth. You may wish you were dead instead, because you won't live very long or very comfortably. smaller homes, buy less crap, don't borrow money, barter or cash, fix stuff, buy used, not new, etc.

  • @lightcatcher3 I don't disagree with what you're saying, but everyone has to start somewhere, and I believe what I layed out is a good first step, though it is not the ultimate end. You can't prepare for every eventuality, and something is far better than nothing. I'm not preparing for pole shift or the sun blowing up. If that happens, then I accept my fate. I'm preparing for what I thin is both likely and high impact, which is an economic collapse and increasingly tyrannical government.

  • @singledad1234 Um, no the pellet gun is meant to help provide food when you're inside a city where firearms cannot legally be fired or when you're trying to conserve ammunition. On the other hand, if my option was to face down an AK with nothing vs. a high powered pellet gun, yeah, I'd just the pellet gun every time. You do what you can.

  • @singledad1234 You can't get any guns of any kind? You can own a rifle or a shotgun of any kind? Anything is better than nothing. If you can't get a gun, then I would suggest a pellet gun or high-powered beebee gun, which I assume is legal? Beyond that, I would suggest a compound bow, a quality sling-shot, and a quality fighting knife.

  • Moron.

  • @Alpinex105 Most of us prefer something a little more intelligent than name calling. Thanks for trying though.

  • paying off your bills and saving your money is a waist. when our collapse comes money will no longer be an issue. not just for business's but for EVERYONE. our silly government already knows this and are trying to set a plan to only save the 'good' meaning those who had the money prier to the fall. i personally cant wait because those who love greed being money will not survive.

  • @felixmarbles Yes, but my word and my honor are the issue. I believe you should pay back what you borrow just as a matter of doing what is right and decent. People who choose not to and take advantage of the system are the same people I worry about after a collapse. I hope you won't be one of those people, but it's really up to you.

  • Great video !!! I to would rather be ready then not and to the people that think this is stupid or crazy maybe they should pay attention !!!

  • Somebody should warn the Amish they're going to have a lot of visiters shortly lol

  • @Winter077 Believe it or not, but I actually got a good chuckle out of that one. Anyway, I'm hoping that the prepared will not be among those who feel forced to visit the Amish with both good and bad intentions in mind.

  • 3:04 where did you get a pic of me? lol

  • @BoringYPG Did you know I was a member of the paparazzi?

  • Money won't help you if it is worthless. $2,000 in cash? More like $2,000 in worthless paper. Take that $2,000 and buy gold.

  • @Ranger4402 Your comment suggests that you missed the point I was making entirely. Congratulations!

  • oooo nonononono I'm loving the South Park homage. I guess I assume too much :( but hell no I don't support my local drug dealer! I'm doing prep meself, so I'm all on board.

  • LOL: 1:47... mmmkay? (Drugs are bad)

  • @24brotha When you quit taking them, you'll probably realize the wisdom in my advice. I wish you well.

  • @veritasfiles I have been telling people to wean off any addivtive medication their on, otherwise they'll be paralyzed by withdrawal during a crises. I have managed to wean myself off "bipolar" meds sinse last Dec. and guess what? I didn't have Bipoar after all! Great scam they pulled on me, fuckers.

Good luck and God bless you and your family!!

  • why pay off debt if there is a collapse coming? Screw em. Good luck gettin it I say.

  • @jtdrummer2112 No offense, but only morons respond this way. The government will be in such dire need of money, they may end up reinstituting debtor's prisons. If you think that people who owe money will be let off the hook by worldwide governments clamoring for cash, taxes, and debt repayments, then you're living in an absolute fantasy. Besides, there is something about being honorable and paying the money you owe by law & contract. Would you know anything about honor?

  • @itubenowplease you're probably right! :)

  • The best bet for long food storage is grain. Whole wheat, rice, beans, legumes, etc. They are high fiber, high calorie, filling and gives your body all that you need. Beans have all the protein (instead of having meat). Mix them with rice and you have a complete protein. Canned beans, rice and whole wheat in #10 cans sealed with o2 absorber have at least a 30 year shelf-life.

  • @CheeseMusket That's great. Just remember that if you're anywhere near a significant town or city, the countryside is exactly where people will head to when they need food and are desparate. All in all though, I'd rather be in your position than in their's.
