  • Wonderful.

  • Sick!!!

  • God im behind ya girl we need more music like yours!!!!!! that was beautiful (standing applause) (tear drop)

  • @solbaddude989 lol thank you so much

  • U are fuckin sick. Can you show me a few tips? lol I hate it when people say, "Oh, sampling from a cd is unethical." Fuck you and your ethics. Hip-Hop is not that young anymore, and it needs to keep up with the times. Peace Earth. ha

  • @jayloubeatz totally agree. If you have any questions email me on here.

  • @jayloubeatz one of the reason its better to sample from records, partucularly older records is because they have that special pop and his thats you just can not get from a cd. now adays you can just use a preset to add this sound to a track so really it just comes down to preference. plus records are just way cooler to collect then a flimsy ass cd.

  • @cobaniac19 I know that. I crate digg my self. I use an mpc2000 now so wax is all I use

  • NICE !

  • beatnik is like. the dopest female producer ive ever heard! peace from malaysia! samplemybuttons! LOL

  • This is truly dope. I really like that sample. The drums were pure hip-hop. I think it sounds fine the way it is. I do agree with @dubbsway4life, the snare may sound better if it were sharper. I really do like this beat so I'm gonna check out your soundclick link to hear more. God Bless.

  • @onepastthefame Thankyou. I also have my own site beatnik8 dot com

  • yeah good...

  • bobby caldwell sample! i can dig it

  • wtf ..i used the same sample yesterday, with the same akai, crazy... mad props, timaciek .... we are living in 2010, theres nothing wrong with sampling from cdz, theres no difference so stfu

  • your eyes!!!..that smile!!.....but the song is kool!! yo shit is tight!!

  • i did it!!!!!!!! CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!

  • its this the same sample as- kool g rap "blowing up in the world"

  • whats the sampled song called?

  • @neosouljazz

    You should be ashamed.

  • @dingles4breakfast y should i be ashamed?

  • @neosouljazz

It was kind of a joke about you not recognizing the sample.

  • very nice... i like this... must... download

  • Hot beat girl....keep doing your thing!!!!!!!!!!

  • it doesnt matter if you sample with a cd or a record as long as the beat comes out fire what diffrence does it make, i sample with both sometimes cd more...

  • i sample like crazy with the mpd too

this definitely gives off a feel-good vibe, good stuff

  • This is a rip of a kool g rap tune.

    Like... straight rip

  • I've never even heard the kool g tune. But thanks for watching.

  • Its all good i dont meen to hate on what your doin, just putting it out there

  • It's cool. As I said before I've never heard the tune. However if it does sound like the track, then hopefully I am going in a direction which shows I am growing as a producer.

  • this beat is lovely...keep doing your thing

  • Thanks alot

  • @beatnik8tv super nice beat! liking that bobby caldwell sample!

  • @Leoooonard thank you the guy is too smooth not to sample.

  • The song is sweet but sampling from cd ? Its just not the way i feel...

  • @timaciek don t be bad

  • Im not being bad or hate. Just wrote what i was feeling. Its my opinion...

  • @timaciek so what MF samples from TV, MAXX MIlls samples from ipods, Exile samples from radio.. Does it really matter what you sample from? hell Naw!!! lol just Make music bruh!

  • I sample from both cd's and vinyl. I find it easier to sample from CD's but I am very open minded when it comes to sampling.

Watch out for my new video coming out this week as I will be using vinyl.

  • @beatnik8tv

whats this dude talkin about, id sample a fart if it sounded good. i think people are too interested in trying to emulate dillas sound or madlibs or whoever feel me? lets just make the music.

  • @ThisIsCyfe agreed man i sample mp3s i dont really have a choice right now. its workin out until i get some tables

  • @timaciek

me personally, id sample this conversation. then i might sample air. it doesnt matter where it comes from, just what u do with it

  • @timaciek aint nothin wrong wit samplin from cd's. if the outcome is just rite, then why does it matter what ur sampling from...

  • @timaciek

better from cd the kids nowadays thinking its cool to sample from youtube and downloadshit, and some of em dont even know the name of the artist they samplin! Even worse are dudes who sample from another hiphopsong.

props for keeping it real homie!

  • what is the name of that 1 st beat? its just beauty... , your beat is too nice:) w8 for next peace :)

  • @jarokula Its one of my earlier beats. I'll post it on soundclick.

  • i like it!very god

    but i don't like the drums...btw it's a fantastic work

  • yeah its good to see a female make and know good music..i'm actually from London(Bermondesy) but i now live L.A...keep it up

  • It's cool to see a female producer.Hip hop is so male dominated in that respect.I like the sample choice.I think it would have sounded better if the beat was sped up a little bit and if you picked a sharper snare.Just constructive criticism, not bashin' you.Keep doin' your thing.Peace !

  • dope~~ wats the sample? i think it's the same one used in 2pac & MC Breed - Gotta Get Mine

  • What you won't do by Bobby Caldwell

  • fire!

  • Thanks

  • Damn you got game! You should really get yourself a hardware-sampler and starting sampling from vinyls. It will add more crisp and dope sound to your productions.. otherwise keep on going!

  • lol I've been told that but I am moving away from hardware/sampling to live instruments. Thanks for watching.

  • WOOOW !!! 5/5

  • Thanks for rating and watching

  • good work girl

  • Thank you

  • yo thats dope i wanna hope on that...i make beats from samples to and i must say nice choice is samples...espically vocals....raekwon?...dope

  • Dilla=god.

  • very nice, i like the rhythym

  • Thanks

  • this is acually real dope

  • Thanks. I'm glad you liked it :)

  • Exactly limiting yourself to vinyl stifles creativity

  • Do you have a myspace page?

  • yup I've put it in the info box

  • Peace. Will add you. G-R-A-D-E

  • this beat is solid, but dilla wouldnt do his drums like that nor has those drum sounds. the sample was nicely done tho. not bad. keep at it.

  • Thank you

  • yeah nice nice.

  • glad you liked it

  • that was sick! how much was the drum pad you use?

  • about $200

  • Hi!

i'm a beginner (makin beats just for myself)

Coul you tell me some nice old songs to make a sample?

    I would be nice ^^

  • Try anything that you like. It's all about you. However, you can't go wrong with 70's soul.

  • bobby caldwell.... u need to buy record and sample from records.

  • Why? I get better quality from cd's.

  • this definitely dope...the kick is the only weakness

  • yeah I felt that after watching lol. Thanks for watching.

  • dope

  • Thanks

  • the first beat sampled the "simphony no.40" by mozart

  • haha close its ella fitzgerald

  • really? it really sounds like it came from simphony no. 40...

  • yeah it does a bit doesn't it. I got the strings from i put a spell on you.

  • but thats a nina simone's song. not ella fitzgerald

  • Fire stuff, keep hustlin I see ya on FP ;-)

  • Thanks Joey

  • sick sick sick

  • Hey as often as u may check this..

great respects .. i really like what your doing..

  • Thanks that really means alot

  • Sounds like Dilla would have done it.

  • Wow thank you

  • This sample was used on Kool G Rap's - Blowin' up in the world.....You flipped it a little differently :) oh and I "Mizz" the Black Zombie remix.

  • I'll upload it again

  • Flavor!!!! Holla Atcha Boy lets collaborate I would love to swap tracks back and forth.....peace 1luv

  • yeah def message me with your ideas.

  • Really sick beat, keep going

  • dope beat!

  • Thanks

  • the sample's from bobby caldwell right? really cool flip, i like it. the only "bad thing" i see is that you put so much drums for a chilled beat like that... anyway i like it!

    peace from spain

  • Yup. It's so smooth I had to use it.

  • Do you use ur dum pad or your keyboard more for beats? I'm thinking about getting either but I don't want to buy both unless needed, you know? Thanx

  • Drum pad - for old school hip hop

    Keyboard for pop.

Some keyboards have drumpads built into them.

  • reminds me of the 90's. beats very good.

  • Glad you liked it

  • ...fuck a critic!!!... your shit sounds nice lady -- stay inspired and keep doin' what you're doin'... ( that's a gift -- stay wit it!!!) lol... love!

  • Thankyou Leshawn

  • that was truly a fly az beat. : )

  • Thank you

  • One Of Da Dopest Female Producer...I respect wat u doin and dope beat Stay up

    ~ACE~

  • Wow thanks Ace

  • dope =P

  • Hey real dope beat! Definitely feelin it I was always wondering a good way to chop that song but u did great

  • Thank you

  • This beat would be much better if you shortened the cymbal length, makes it sound sloppy (not the whole thing, it's very good otherwise), but that HH is WAAAAAY too intrusive, good job though :-)

  • Thanks ;)

  • I never meant to insult you though! I'm just sayin' this sound NOTHING like Dilla- he uses alot of very small samples and most the times you can't eaven tell where it came from.. Jazzy Jeff is a good producer yes, and I'm 100% sure he uses this SAME sample in a track- you just copy it..

  • It's not supposed to sound like Dilla though...

I was inspired by him to create a chilled out boom bap type of beat. I am not an avid listener of his, so why would I try to recreate his sampling style?

That song Won't do, is crazy. I was amazed at how he could incorporate different samples from songs and make them mesh so well together. I wanted to recreate that type of feeling, but in my own way.

I haven't heard Jazzy's flip, but I know loads of people have flipped this sample.

  • Sounds more like Jazzy Jeff! J Dilla is more mystic and unique so stop comparing you shit to his!

  • I love how you flipped that Bobby Caldwell joint, that was beautiful

  • u gotta tell me how u get that j dilla fell in your tracks

its killin me i wanna find out

  • Lol I'll make a video going more indepth next time.

  • was the second sample you laid down...was that just another part of the same sample you played on the first sequence...anyway...hot beat.

  • Yeah. I took one part that created the melody and another part with vocals to create the chorus.

  • dope!!!

  • Thank you

  • wow this is crazy !

can you give me exactly the title of the song that used as sample ?

  • Thanks. Sorry I can't do that. lol

  • feelin' it girl! check out some of my stuff!

  • I did dope videos.

  • dope!!

    yo my myspace is myspace/naveensehdev

peace keep up the amazing production!

  • Thanks manzies.
