The Bible never says that He was born in December, but we set aside that day to recognize our Savior's birth just like with Easter. Yeah, everyone knows that he wasn't born on Christmas day, it's just the day we choose to celebrate his birthday. Obviously no one knows the exact date, as they didn't keep time like we do. In fact, we are in the year 2009 BECAUSE of him, they started counting years as BC and AD, remember? Except the guy who calculated it was off by about 6 years, so technically we're 6 years in the future. Seriously. My friend can't get over it, he brings it up the whole time since we learned it in Religion.

this song helps because Christmas is feeling like nothing this year it feels like the middle of summer only colder and my brother won't let me decorate without anybody and it just ruins everything and every time we decorate at all he starts a fight :-(

hehe. i know what you mean i used to go to a church with hyms. and i started going to this church closer to home and we play a large number of modern songs. the ones which are way to young to be written in ancient hym books. hehe :]

@RandomSquirrelys they have churches that do, I go to one and they only play songs like this, and we pretty much believe the same things because I used to be catholic, but I'm Baptist now. Maybe they have Baptist church near you.

Yeah, everyone knows that he wasn't born on Christmas day, it's just the day we choose to celebrate his birthday. Obviously no one knows the exact date, as they didn't keep time like we do. In fact, we are in the year 2009 BECAUSE of him, they started counting years as BC and AD, remember? Except the guy who calculated it was off by about 6 years, so technically we're 6 years in the future. Seriously. My friend can't get over it, he brings it up the whole time since we learned it in Religion.
