Wow Even after the RF detector circuit was fried, the audio amp continued to be operational (as could be heard by the loud buzz coming from the speakers) for quite a while. A VERY robust ciruit! I mean given the fact that when a high power microwave beam strikes an antenna such as a pair of metal leads on a computer chip it will induce a couple thousand volts accross the device (such as the aforementioned chip), which should IMMEDIATELY ruin it. So the op-amp in the audio circuit must be GOOD!

@lilbrian97, yes, I have been having issues with errors in the software. First it was glitch interference in the editing, inversions in the video then spelling errors. I check the the final cut several times however it seems some kind of error auto corrector changing words eludes me each time. I will try to catch these errors better.

Very similar to what I asked only I went the speaker to be in side and the HIFI out side to see if the speaker will work longer?

And will it effect the HIFI if its out side?

@ClactonRadio, You will get the same effect but not as good or as for long. I have noticed when microwaving live stereos or TVs they actually receive and try to play microwaves off the air instead of the waves they are designed to receive. I did a 13" color TV that did something similar recently.
