  • this whole business is so ludicrous on the part of the production corporations, the writers should just abandon broadcast media entirely in favor of the internet.

  • This is a TWENTY YEAR contract. Do you think the internet will be anything like it is today in 20 years? The web will be the primary distribution platform for all media in twenty years... probably a lot sooner. Studios know that. (Meanwhile, will Webcasters become union signatory distributers like the studios?) Hey WGA - don't forget us reality editors. It is your weakness as we will see in January. Please unionize us.
