Stephen King is a real KING of horror books. I've been reading His "Firestarter" since yesterday and the first half of book is read by me now. I love this book. I've read "Carrie" and "Desperation" too. I am not gonna stop reading King's books. King is the best.

btw. the book is f*** awesome. had absolutely NO weakpoints at all..very intertaining. And charlie dont shoot fireballs lol. her and her father are on the run, they werent eating too great, the girl that played charlie was too fat/chubby. too many little things they messed up on it all adds to alot of mess ups.

I disagree---Dakota Fanning is an amazing actress, but she already has the "little old lady" air about her. Part of what made Drew Barrymore good for this part was that she had that "pure little girl" thing going. Unlike Dakota, who acts and sounds like she's seen centuries of civilizations rise and fall :), Drew seemed like an innocent cherub who was paradoxically cursed with incredible destructive power. That's what makes it work, I think.
