  • It works somewhat, works great with summoner but when I did it with Priest it just gave me like 60 JP everytime I do it, help?

  • it works on samurai job too

  • How would I master jobs such as Squire, Geomancer, Monk, etc where you can't scroll down on their list?

  • mine worked twice. now when i try to do it it lowers my jp by a random # and i don't even learn the selected skill that was selected to learn in the first place even if i did the trick or not

  • So this works for chemist but I can't get it to work with any of the other ones.. I am playing on the psn version on my ps3... It ways my jp but I don't even learn it..

  • Does this method work for the PS1 game?

  • @sapphirezahara It only works on the ps1 game.

  • @Gad001RS2, thanks. (: It worked like a charm for the PS1 game. (:

  • Comment removed

  • I can't get it to work on the PSX Emulator. Help anyone?

  • @TheTF2Chronicles [2] HELLLLLLLLP please !!!!

  • anyway i can do this on my ipod? =/

  • @TheAdmiralsOwl No they fixed some 'bugs' and added some with the ipod version

  • anyone know where i can find this or a similar glitch for the psp version

  • @dnmd82100 Sure, play the PSOne classic version instead of the War of The Lions port.

  • This reminds me of the time i took a shit on my teachers desk

  • @laosta99 <_<... How?

  • I remember this glitch way back then, found it on some other site... it ruined the whole game for me cause I've spent days earning Job points good thing it was removed on the PSP the war of the lions

  • How come it doesnt work on geomancers?

  • @laosta99 First of all, think. You pick an ability #1 you can learn and then switch it to ability #2 which you also can learn.

Second of all, it works but you need 300 JP.

Pick an ability #1, use this cheat and LEARN ability #2. Then pick #1 again, use cheat to get to #2 which you just learned and that's it.

  • @laosta99 cuz all of thier skills are 150 jp

  • So, even if you download the original psx port from Playstation Network, it won't work?

  • let me explain some of this glitch.some of the jobs, need to have the cursor pointed at a SPECIFIC job class for the glitch to work.(for the black mage,it's death.for the oracle,zombie/petrify.etcetc)

  • YES THE GLITCH WORKS ON THE EMULATOR I HAVE EPSXE VERSION 1.7.0 AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM BUT ONLY TO THE FOLLOWING CLASSES THAT WERE LISTED IN THE DESCRIPTION

  • this actually works hahaha, took me a few trys and sometimes you gotta have faith and buy an ability that's off screen. Both times I "bought" an ability that was off-screen it charged me nothing, the second time when I backed up in the menu and clicked on 'Ability' it showed 9999! Summoner is all I need this for haha.

  • it can't scroll down on my ramza's squire. can anyone help me?

  • @yagulshin Read the vid again, you'll get understand why it doesn't work.

  • does this works for psx emulator???

  • @natsugrayerzalucy I don't know, I have the Psx emulator version and the Ps3 downloaded version from the Ps3 network store, It works on the network one, but I'm too lazy to go and see if it works on the Emulator on my computer. LOL, Beat this game years a go and I pick it back up from time to time, never knew about this trick though, interesting.

  • when you scroll down with square and learn an ability, notice your JP go down and you dont learn anything, keep doing it til your JP goes to zero and then when it does, all the abilities will be a gray, reload the screen and 9999jp

  • You're great

  • This is a great trick! It seems to work for each character once to the jobs mentioned in the description. It really helps get the game started which seem to be the hardest part ( party leveling at the start of the game). GO CHEMIST!

  • ty, but i prefer to earn my skills the hard way than cheating them; it's more rewarding at the end.

  • *****TO ALL PSP USERS, THIS CHEAT WILL NOT WORK!! SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THIS VIDEO IF YOUR PLAYING THIS ON A PSP******

  • @CAZPERsayz Uh... just did it buddy

  • @CAZPERsayz what other system can u play this on if not psp?

  • @firerock34 emulators dude, or playstation

  • @CAZPERsayz Then I wonder if there is a cool cheat for PSP.

  • @CAZPERsayz this actually does work i just did it in the original ps1 classic version, not sure about the war of the lions remake though

  • thats some bullshit that cheat doesn't work on psp.is there any type of cheats for ff tactics on psp?

  • i love this glitch :D amazing game i still play it (PS1 version)

  • @RexGladius

Hi. I want to play this game again on PS1. Tell me this trick es true?

What about Cloud in this game? It´s true or it´s a joke?

    Greetings

  • @globibitos Yes it does work on the PS1 version, but NOT the PSP version. However, this trick doesn't work with all classes only certain ones. In the description it tells u the classes that can do it :Chemist, Priest, Wizard, Time Mage, Summoner, Mediator, Oracle, Geomancer, Lancer, Samurai, Ninja, Squire (Ramza Only), Temple Knight, Holy Swordsman. Yes Cloud is in this game, but you have to do a series of sidequests in order to get him. Look up other vids and it'll show u Cloud.

  • Ninja two swords best class!

  • i dont think this works for psp

  • @Blentastic it works i just tried it

  • @divalona123 how it didnt for me at all

  • @Blentastic depends on which job,(i havent unlocked all the jobs)so far it worked on the chemist, wizard and time mage

  • @divalona123 works on none for me =/

  • tried it for psp. it erases my jp D:

  • it works.. haha works if the list of skill have a scrolled down :DD

  • darn !!!! i hope this work on psp ~ XP

  • @nickyreno mee tooooo!

  • Why it happend this?

  • I've run into a problem with White Mage. It just keeps giving me 60 exp, instead of turning the list gray, any advice?

  • @arkcommando Originally i wouldn't have known what you were talking about, but since reading another persons FAQ i know exactly what you're talking about. It's because this video was poorly done that it doesn't explain jack shit and the video creator doesn't seem to reply to comments anymore so he's essentially useless as well.

For this glitch to work you have to use it with certain skills. Some skills reduce the number to "0000" and some add JP. If you want the link to the FAQ just message me.

  • Why doesn't this work for all classes though? Just curious.

I tried it with squire, but it didn't work?

Could you explain for me if it isn't to much trouble. Thanks in advance!

  • @Lance241151 This only works with jobs whose ablities list scrolls. If the skill list does not go up or down, then it cannot be done with that job. There are certain skills for each class which will give you max JP (like ether for chemist or bolt 2 for wizard). Do the trick and land on those skills for max. Some classes are more difficult to do this trick with, like geomancer and samaurai. I can't remember the skill for geomancer, but i think it's komaitachi. Samaurai use bizen boat a lot.

  • @RobotHerd Ah yeah. I've found out how to manipulate this glitch fully in a FAQ shortly after my comment. The video creator did a very sloppy job at making this video. He claims the glitch works with classes that "scroll down".

Every damn class in the game can "scroll down". It's what confused me and had me wondering why not squire? He should have said "page down",which is what everyone else says, but i only found this out after in the FAQ. I appreciate that you tried to help me though. Thanks.

  • Holy hell lol I wasnt so sure this was gonna work buhh I gave it a shot and it sure as hell did ^-^ Great vid!

  • I love this glitch! All my little brothers are mad at me because I won't tell them how to do it. They're to lazy to look it up themselves.

  • when i did this on priest I started losing jp and then I didnt have enough to get anything?????

  • @IXRecon289XI save before you do it, and just screw with it a little, like try it on different abilities and different spots. You'll get it

  • You lied! It took me minutes not seconds!

  • Hey thank you for the glitch, it save a lot of build up time : )

  • does this trick work for war of the lions (psp) or only for psx

  • @loyal567 nah it only works for the psx version doesnt for the psp atleast it doesnt work on my psp version :P

  • I might as well try it out, since I suck really bad at this game. :/

  • cant it work in ePSXe? what is the equivalent of square?

  • @yaocomavan the button you configure to have the square button function

  • so it doesnt work for FF tactics war of the lions? anymore? or does it still work?

  • truth be told. i forget if you can scroll up and down on Reis's ability list. if you can scroll up and down, the cheat will work. if you can't scroll up and down, it won't work.

  • and the cheat also works for the mediator.

  • EVERYBODY. this only works on classes whose ability list you can scroll down on. This won't work for the monk, squire, knight, thief, dancer, bard, calculator, holy knight, heaven knight, hell knight, engineer, divine knight, or archer. The cheat will work ONLY for chemists, all magic classes, lancers, geomancers, ninjas, temple knight, soldier, holy swordsman, dragoner, and for the samurai. the wizard thing f**** up for some reason sometimes. just keep trying.

  • It says it doesn't work for the PSP version... does that include the downloadable version available for download through the Playstation network?

  • @greenll3unny It worked on my psp version of FF tactics

  • I finaly found out some things how is works i got wizard maxed. It dapends on the skill, i tryed protect with priest and found a gray one didn't WORK for me then i tried cure square down to regen and it worked. try different skill and you might get them.

  • i love this fucking glitch

  • does this work on the psp " war of thr lions" version?

  • @pyris1

nope, it doesn't, because in the remake of the game the programers fixed this glitch.

  • I don't know if I missed a step because whenever I do it, it never works. Okay so I went on the job chemist and I pressed x then I held down square then down press okay exit to the status screen then back to the job thing... Nothing happens. Can someone help me please? I beg of you.

  • Great vid just dont think the geomancer job works as all the abilities on the scrolling screen cost the same amount of points making it imposible to land on a greyed out ability. If there is a way, any advice you can offer?

  • thiss only works on the psp virsion? cause i have tatics on the ps3

  • @Mocolashandaful nvm it works XD

  • very good game!!!

  • Since it's not mentioned on the video or the video description, I thought it would be worth posting it.

When you hold square and scroll down, the 'finger' needs to land on an ability that's greyed out. So if for example you have too much XP and all your abilities and available to learn, it won't work.

Post a video on how to duplicate swords!

  • OMG i bought this game ($10.00 ps1 version) on the playstation network store and tryd this and it worked!!! (My B-day) :) :D it worked!! for the psp...

  • Does this work on the PSP version????

  • @EricB042389 Please read before you post. The description says that the glitch isn't in the PSP version, and several comments before yours indicate the same. Simply throwing questions around is a good way to prove your foolishness and incite others to ignore you. Next time that you don't understand something completely, look it up before asking others, else you'll just be bugging them. You know what I mean?

    -IamKagamineLenANDKasaneTed

  • @ivaldi13 Wow. You sure put him in 'intellectual checkmate', but really, I don't think anyone called the comment police. I agree redundant questions like that can be aggravating, but I hardly think it's necessary to berate two users back-to-back with some smug, overly verbose little tirade. Next time that you have a problem with someone, try to tell yourself that you're just an unimportant little YouTube user like the rest of us, else you'll look like a pompous ass. You know what I mean? ;D

  • @SuttaBro Hm, you mean exactly what you're doing? If you stop being exactly the pompous ass that you're accusing me of being, you just may realize that I was trying to offer constructive criticism. You know, that stuff that you keep hearing about that apparently has the intent of helping somene? Imagine that; criticism that helps. Gasp. I wasn't wasting a string of comments on insults, as you seem eager to do; I was trying to get him to simply think. It's pretty useful advice, no? Consider this:

  • @SuttaBro If you had to ask a question online and wait for someone to answer every time that you wanted or needed to learn anything, there are a lot of things that you'd never learn from this dependency, right? A lot of questions would not be answered until too late, and many more not at all, at least partially because it has already been answered, and all that you must do is read around. Not a particularly pleasant policy, right? I was only tryying to point this out, rather than bash, flame...

  • @SuttaBro troll, or anything else. If they're too immature to take a little (completely warranted) beration, let them whine. If they realize that they made a mistake and I wasn't riding their asses about it, rather trying to somewhat brashly make them aware so that they could remedy their flaw, that's great, too. You, however, have no business judging the intent of my comments, and should rightly mind your own. If you want to believe that we're all worthless, little people who are each beyond...

  • @SuttaBro any form of remediation of our human flaws, that's your business, but don't get on me for trying to help. If you think that I could've been more tactful, why don't you post a more sugar-coated version of what I said, and I'll leave my blunt, honest, and informative comments up, hm? I do not honey or mince words, and that's not changing. By the way, your feeble attempt to mock me only serves my point that you're taking this quite immaturely and sticking your nose in another's business.

  • @SuttaBro Now, before you start trolling, flaming, and whatnot, think what I said over. Unless you intend to apologize for butting-in with a comment with hypocritical rudeness, you'd probably be best not to reply at all, so take your own advice and tell yourself of your apparent insignificance and impertinence. Don't even think about trying to make me seem like I want any sort of checkmate; this is not a competition to me, although you seem eager to make it so.

    -IamKagamineLenANDKasaneTed

  • @ivaldi13 Gotcha. So you're using YouTube comments about 10+ year old video games as a means to change the world and better the human race? Gosh, I'm so touched by your heroism, I simply must retract every snide word I wrote earlier.

As far as being immature, hypocritical, etc...etc...of course I am! This is YouTube and unlike you, I'm not afraid to admit that like all human beings, I occasionally use the delicious anonymity of the internet to have fun with sad, little basement-dwelling...

  • @ivaldi13 ...cretins like yourself who actually take the time to write 5 consecutive comments back to a troll with an honest-to-God belief that they are making some sort of difference!

Anyway, I'm super-psyched for you now that you've discovered your life's work as the 'Jesus of YouTube'!!! Good luck with that!

    -IamFirstOfficialDiscipleofJesusofYouTubeANDHisFirstTroll

  • @SuttaBro Wow... What's really sad is that you seem to believe that what you said was some sort of brilliant comeback... Yeah, I wrote five comments. Ooh, how terrible. You mean that I actually care to apply that tiny bit of effort? Gasp! No, I'm trying to help people, which seems to be a novel concept to a self-centered bastard like you. Well, while you revel in your pigsty, those of us with some decency will be here, ignoring your blasphemous, ignorant, and downright stupid remarks. God bless.

  • @ivaldi13 Ohhh...a Christian. Now the self-righteous idiocy makes perfect sense. Thanks for the 'blasphemous' remark - it's nice to see you complimenting me for a change. <3 <3

  • @SuttaBro Are you really this ritarded? (Don't correct my spelling; I'm using the original. Look it up, if you have doubts.) In addition to making a fool out of yourself, you're also offending the largest group in the world, bar-none. This group also happens to be highly respected and appreciated by countless people who aren't in it; people are going to look at your comments and wonder just how such an immoral fool even stays alive in this world. For your own sake, I suggest that you stop...

  • @SuttaBro trolling, and if you keep pushing it (and YT keeps sending your comments to my inbox), I can and will file harassment charges. If you don't think that I can, again, go ahead and look it up, because YT doesn't appreciate members who cloud others' hypocritical foolishness. (Example: You're calling me self-righteous? Ha! Just read what you said.) I hope that you have the maturity or at least the balls to walk away, for I have both. Good day and God bless.

    -IamKagamineLenANDKasaneTed

  • @ivaldi13 Oh my....you really just keep getting better and better. You realize the more you respond desperately with empty threats and 'God bless'es, the more you're coaxing my inner troll to come out and play, don't you? I'm not even going to begin to list the reasons for exactly why you have no grounds to file harassment charges, I'm just going to let you keep living in your deluded little YouTube savior dream world. Also, please re-read your comment. All you've accused me of is...

  • @ivaldi13 ..."cloud[ing] others' hypocritical foolishness". So, you're mad at me for clouding your foolishness? I should think you would be grateful, it's quite difficult work to cloud the foolishness of someone like yourself who continues to spiral further and further into a schizophrenic messiah complex...and now you want to try to throw the law at me as well. Oh dear...well at least YOU believe yourself to be intelligent. That must be encouraging for you. Anyway, it doesn't take balls to...

  • @ivaldi13 ..."walk away" from an internet rumble with a pigheaded religious zealot, but if that's what helps you sleep at night, we can pretend that's what happened here. Lucifer curse, my friend.

  • ninja wont work.................

  • if you was to take like a wizard and mastered it at level 1 would it ever go up to level 2 so you could unlock time wizard?

  • @TheDarknessOfSouls yes

    it lvls normally

  • @FSolaHalo Hey, on your "Final Fantasy Tactics Master Any Job Class in Seconds!" video, what is the very first song from 0:00 to 0:11? Thanks man

  • @Iflifewasimportant its the final fantasy theme song from ff12 opening menu

  • @FSolaHalo

can you still level up your jobs if you master the job a level 1?

  • i cant get this to work!!

  • Does anyone know if this glitch still works with the PSN down loadable version on PS3? I tried it a couple of times and I could not get it to work but it could be just me.

  • is this PSP or PS1 ? CAN IT WORK ON BOTH?

  • @Snufkinized Please read before you post. The description says that the glitch isn't in the PSP version, and several comments before yours indicate the same. Simply throwing questions around is a good way to prove your foolishness and incite others to ignore you. Next time that you don't understand something completely, look it up before asking others, else you'll just be bugging them. By the way, typing in all caps bugs people, too. You know what I mean?

    -IamKagamineLenANDKasaneTed

  • can this work on PSP?

  • this will ruin the fun in the game and wont make it a challange so if you somehow find cheating fun knock your self out

  • Wish they made holy knight a class

  • Duplicate weapons glitch FTW!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is possibly the cheapest yet best cheat ingame. when i found this out, I finally beaten Velius and boy was i glad!

2 tips for people... (DOES NOT WORK ON PSP VERSION, AND YOU HOLD SQUARE AND PRESS DOWN, IF YOU LAND ON A GREY SPELL WHICH YOU CANT BUY, PRESS ACCEPT!)

  • Does it work for Final Fantasy Tactics of PS1?

  • Yes

  • oh i know geomancer you switch to a skill you already have it works

  • omg you saved my life.

  • Wait it only works on ramza ?

  • No, any character can do it, with the listed jobs.

Ramza's *squire* class is special, being the only character with the ability to scroll down the list with that class.

  • It works on any jobs?

  • Omg this glitch works!

  • You press SQUARE!

  • this doesn work for WoL isnt it

  • @kohtianyi >.> its in the desc dude

  • i know bu anarch79 said it work

  • this bug in PSP?

  • i've found the 'formula' for oracle... scroll down till you see paralyze is at the bottom of the list.. after that.. proceed with the scroll down glitch

  • It can be tricky sometimes. A couple of times ive lost a lot of jp for using the trick on an ability. I make sure that everyone has mastered chemists. =)

  • does this work on the psn version too?

  • @DGD2993

    yes it does

  • Thank you very much for this. Is there anyway I can get my characters to HP 999???

  • does this work for anyother

  • Yep, I got the formula for Wizard now. You have to scroll down just enough so that Ice 2 is the last visible on the list. Then go one up to Ice, and proceed with the trick.

  • Wow sorry to keep posting in your thread, but Wizard is now working with other characters, I did it with Delita and it worked fine. Guess it just sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, one of those glitchy things.

  • glad you figured it out. wizard and oracle usually gave me trouble. but if you keep playing with it, youll get it

  • Okay, it is working, I didn't realize you had to pick jobs with scrollable ability lists. However, it definitely isn't working with Wizard for some reason. In fact, it just subtracts 20 JP without giving you any abilities each time you try it on Wizard. Great trick though, all my guys are maxed on Items and Heal spells! :D

  • Okay this actually isn't working for me.

  • Wow that's pretty amazing. I may have to use that.

  • doesn't anyone use the chocobo pinning method?

a chocobo can self heal, so pin it in a corner and hit it with a few of your guys over and over for jp. knights can use breaks on its attack power and stuff so your other characters can get in more hits between its heals. you can even attack your own team mates and then heal them and the chocobo at the same time with an aoe from your priest.

using this method saves time of loading battles and walking back and forth, but its more boring

  • can someone tell me how to change job in this game?? i really dont understand how to change job =(

  • go to formation menu and press triangle on any character and it shows the commands items, change jobs, and learn ability.

  • Wow! How cool! I always used Gameshark, the JP Never Goes Down code, and it always still took a long time. Thanks a bunch!

  • does this work for the psp to???

  • im not sure for war of the lions but the original tactics yes. i downloaded tactics from ps store and its untouched meaning they didnt fix the glitch

  • it works on any class that allows you to scroll through the abilities...unfortunately geomancer, knight, archer and a few others are excluded...

  • actually i found out you can do it for geomancer you have to do the glitch by switching to a skill u already have

  • Comment removed

  • I remember doing this on the PS1 version.

  • i'm from brazil

    i can't understand it ¬¬'

  • Aperte O até aparecer yes,ai segure quadrado e coloque para baixo a tela desce, ainda segurando se o cursor descer onde fica cinza vc simplesmente confirma!!

  • Doesn't work for Wizard and Oracle, mainly because there must be a bug within those two classes. Other then that? It works just fine with classes with scrollable skill sets.

  • it does work for the wizard and oracle. Try using a different starting point.

  • Got it, and thanks. Wizard started on poison and scroll up too Bolt, which work. Oracle is still not working, but you're about different starting points though.

  • no problem glad it worked. sometimes the right starting point is on a ability that you have already learned; if thats the case, it may not work.

  • you need to get the thingy to land on Death.

  • @.@

    e eu me matando ¬.¬

  • so it only works on various job sets.....I"ve been too lazy to actually play it lately cuz of my job but before I go and get dissappointed will it work on Knight, Squire....obviously it works on chemist, rather what I is asking will it work on most beginning job classes????

  • Well I've done it and it works on any class besides wizard and oracle but the class has to have 2 screens full of skills, for instance knight and squire wont work because they have only one screen full of skills.

Anyways I tried it and I feel dirty for screwing the game like that, it would save time but I'm just wondering will this corrupt your game or save in anyway?

  • Final Fantasy Tactics is the best thing ever. Not game. Thing.

  • kkkkkkkkkkkk

  • >Master any job in seconds

    >JP Scroll Glitch only works on classes with scrollable skillsets

    dohoho

  • lol

  • so far it hasn't worked on wizard or oracle

  • OMG this cheat is too good to be true.... I was playing a new game and now I ruined the experience lol. i planned on taking it the long way lol
