Forget William - I'm just noticing how mellowed out Simon Cowell has become since Paula left. She made him feel like he could say anything because she'd just offset whatever he said with something warm and fuzzy. And maybe he's gotta used to being on American TV and has started to pull back with the abraisiveness a bit, as US audiences tend to not take honesty very well. Even more so now, it's like everyone wants their hand held. Hence why Simon is rich, and the US economy is in the toilet.
