@IHATELIGHT777 Based on? Probably not. Influenced by? Most likely. To me, there is a difference. Watari takes the role of Watson. However, the Detective and Sidekick is a popular theme used in literature/media. Monk and Sharona/Natalie from "Monk" and Shawn and Gus from "Psych" are also duos that fit that description. I'm sure they're not the only ones, nor will they be the last.

Sherlock Holmes and L act vastly different from one another, and have different motives for doing what they do.

Who said I was labeling it? The song's title is "Gothic Power", that's why I used it in the video's title. And, I've read all the manga, seen all the episodes, went to both movies in theatres, and bought How to Read 13 just to have the spiffy L card it came with, I think I know of it's awesomeness :3.

Well, the two opening theme songs for Death Note are Alumina by Nightmare, and What's Up People by Maximum the Hormone. The two ending theme's are the WORLD by Nightmare, and Zetsubou Billy by Maximum the Hormone. THIS song however, was Gothic Power by Immediate Music.
