Well, as I do recall, they were had Al Jefferson, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen along with a good bench made up by Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, and Leon Powe. I'd say they looked pretty good, not necessarily championship-caliber but definitely top notch in the east. Pierce actually is a six time all star, has made the all NBA third team three times and led the way to the biggest comeback in NBA playoff history in 2002, so no, I don't think he sucks. I said Garnett was better, didn't I?

Actually correction on your claim, at least for me. Im the opposite I just started following the Celtics this year because of Kevin Garnett. Hes always been in my top three favorite players and I was very curious to see how he would play out with the Boston line-up. And it almost hurt to do it cuz they play in the same vicinity as the New England Patriots who are my most hated football team lol.
