  • Un petit génie.

  • Wuaaauu!!!!

  • I had no idea that Mozart's mom with asian !

  • I have been long time at far east ! it is kind of their feelings "superiority " !

  • @hanbirol No. That's just your own mental projection speaking to you.

  • my son will be like this too , iam looking for a master teacher soon

  • It's not just technique, he has musicality ... Amazingly good for a 8 years old kid

  • Scary good!!!

  • At the end, I was waiting for the applause, but then I recognize that this was only his warm up each morning...

  • @xXEisteeholikerXx or before bedtime practice. wrong notes... no sleep for you.

  • マジかよ…

  • nice performance espeically for an8 years old, and just realised the older one we are get owned. btw does this song being graded? coz i can't find anywhere on the internet about wat grade this song is. and i am a 2years self taught keyboard player, and learned this in 2/3days with synthesia. It wasn't difficult, most melodies just keep repeat the same, it's just the speed, accuracy and dynamics im lacking. but iam sure the song is graded for advanced. so plz tell me if u know the grade of it.

  • @LHITShappy When i played it my teacher said it was a level 5 piece which is late intermediate or early advanced

  • @p3rf3ctl1ght okay thanks then now i can estimate this is about grade 6 standard/or easy grade 7/hard grade 5 out of 8 grades, but im still proud of myself since idid no lessons/grades b4. btw ive just recently learned the notes for beethoven sonata no5op1 finale which is a grade 8(general highest level) piece on ABRSM, though istill can't play it properly but didnt find it dat much difficult than this one, so dat's y ithought this as advanced.

  • @LHITShappy thats great that you've learned so much :) im not sure if 8 is the highest level though, because when i first started piano lessons she told me she could teach up to level 12, also i can't imagine a beethoven sonata being at such a high level. Try some liszt etudes and you'll know what i mean :P good luck.

  • @p3rf3ctl1ght thx for ur suggestion, but ithink liszt etudes are abit too much for me iill never be a hardcore like dat, at least i need to master the stuffs i've been learning 1st. and yes maybe u r right, coz i heard different exam boards have different scale, like RCM the highest is 10th, ABRSM is 8th. but these are just the general highest scale, obviously there r stuffs beyond these standard which u normally do for diploma after passing ur highest grade 8 or 10th.

  • Boss.

  • 低評価を下すのは日本人嫌いの外国人かな?あなたはどんだけの人なの?と聞いてみたいわ。。。

  • i feel bad now. i just got pwned. XD

  • this is my favourite performance of this piece. he plays it different then the normal version

  • hell!! boy! what did he eat to become like that?

  • @XePhy100 rice

  • infinite

  • True talent. I just want to know what allows a young child to be able to feel and interpret music like this

  • how he manages to keep the leading notes of the left hand so connected really amazes me, as well as not making the triplets at 0:30 sound like sextuplets, and not disjointed, as well as a million other things. respect man, respect

  • His performance is very excellent. Is he really 8 years old? I could not play the piano so much when I was 8 years old. I think that he has a big future.

  • I can play the piano, too. But only with my right hand. It's amazing how some people, especially kids like him in this video, can use both hands playing a song.

  • The weight of that kid's hands are extraordinary!

  • Hey, This kid got a Name doasnt it?... and im pretty shure its not "Japanese Kid": Come on.

  • mais comment est ce possible? si jeune, jouer comme ça.... j'en reste bouche b.

  • Why do people always think a kid's parent is forcing a kid to play when the child is ASIAN? Sure some Asian parents mostly Chinese, Japanese, Korean, are more likely to be strict but still, you think that this kid doesn't have REAL talent just because his mom pushes him to learn? It takes more than a pushy strict Asian mom to play this well.

  • @alexandrieth ,that's true ,I have been long time at far east ! it is kind of their feelings "superiority " !

  • @alexandrieth if you dont have talent you can still play this but not as good

  • @classicgirl2000 Well, I think if you are 8 years old, it still requires tremendous talents to just play this piece. For adult ages, yes, it takes talents to play this well.

  • I`m wandering if this is real talent and passion or just parental Drill...

  • I cried. May god be with this child. I'm usually a harsh critic, but I have nothing to say. I love how he has Herculean technicality with enough musicality. Thank you the parents of this child for not raising another wannabe piano prodigy bang bang pianist. This is the real deal.

  • this kid must have been in hell all of his life to be able to play like this

  • The abundance of dexterous children able to recite music exhibited on youtube is confirming my suspicion that it is mechanical skill, of which music is a resultant byproduct.

  • @Uberloinvongenchler

Wishful thinking, if you could play one tenth as well as children that I have seen playing in China, and I don't mean something as corny as an electric guitar, you would have something relevant to say about the issue. I play the piano and I only wish that I was as musical as some of these kids who are going to ensure the existence of real music when all the infantile pop trash of today has long been forgotten.

  • @MartinPadderborn If you possessed the requisite intelligence to discuss the multitude of matters you conflate and confuse here I would spare more than a few lines on youtube to enlighten you. Firstly, my performance ability, if in fact I play an instrument (you do not know this) is irrelevant. Secondly, the electric guitar is also irrelevant. Thirdly, it is only a bigot of breathtaking arrogance in 21st century society who makes absolute claims about the validity of music.

  • pretty good for a Chinaman!

  • His parents made him practice 11 hours a day, starting at the time of 4 months gestation... So he's been playing about 8 and half years at this point.

Seriously, how is this possible? Fucking 8?! I quit life. Bye.

  • Que niño tan caballo...es un duro en el piano...

  • ASIANS DONT COUNT

  • om double g

  • best version of this piece i've ever heard. but quality is bad :-(

  • HOW...WHAT...UH...WHAT! WOW!

  • This is amazing! No matter how many people feel the need to lighten their load of jealousy with a low blow diss, he is brilliant & certainly there should be more child prodigies because I'm getting sick of lame-brained teens getting attention for having babies in high school :|

  • as the name of this piano?

  • Increible. It's amazing. Congratulations.

  • WTF!! He just hacked life.

  • TENSAI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah! How do all these children learn these difficult, advanced songs so fast!!!!

  • I feel my life is a waste of time

  • i love the amazing kids that use the little box to use the pedals. it's so cute!

  • Simple...amazing thing to heard....and see to belive...congratulation and thank's Lord to give the music for us!!!

  • brilliant for his age, brilliant technique, genius and what you want but if I listen to a piece of music like that they have to hear a Yundi Li or a perahia or a Zimerman.

although he may be brilliant for his age he isn't good inough for a piece like that.

    (just my opinion...)

  • AMAZING !!!

  • Wow!!!

  • this kid was featured in my brilliant brain;born genius.he really is a genius in music

  • I'm not surprised. I know plenty of peeps who can play this that fast. But I do admit no one is 8 yrs old XD can someone send me sheet music of this? I wanna learn it so badly -.-

  • @Doomdialga have you tried google? it's usually possible to find scores of classical music for free online.

  • the next Mozart...incredible!!!

  • Seriously?!

  • О_О

  • is this for real???

  • A la race japonaise, des machine de travail, de reproduction, de technique....

Mais après dans la composition... c'est autre chose, les européens sont les meilleurs pour inventer, innover....

  • @willyjules les japonaise est les copieurs et perfectionneurs

  • 0_0 is this for real?!!

  • damn, I'm nothing against this kid

  • c'mon for real?

  • プロ並ですね。

    感動しました。

  • reaIy goood!!!!

  • SO GOOD!!! :) ;)

  • I should make a compition where people send me videos of pianists and i will judge them acording to age, song choice, and talant. I should do this because most videos are sayin they are the most amazing!, the greatest!, the best in the world, and i want to find out who actully is the BEST!

It'll be a bit like The X Factor Or Britans Got Tallant But This Could be called The Key Factor 2011 or something.

Thums up if u tink its a good idea

  • This is one of only a handful of Asians that are actually good. Congratulations!

  • 89 people who thumb'd down this video are the typical kids / immature adults who just can't acknowledge that some people have talent and are overwhelmed by their jealousy.

  • Evgeny Kissin played Bach when he was only 2years old, and 10years old when he finished academy in Moscow.

  • i hope asian not only good at play, but good at create.

  • No matter how good you are at something, there's always and 8-year-old Asian doing it ten times better.

  • @NStenO dude i was brought up the same way but through sports.... its the parents... the forcing parents. The things that they tell you to do... Practice Practice Practice.... it never ends.... it continues until your old enough to find out that Practice has just become a part of your life... and its no longer practice... its a skill... that grew from when your very young. This is what I grew up with... maybe not true for this very talented young man... but this is what i was faced with.

  • @CrownRoyal1945 I am Japanese. My parents made me and my sisters learn piano, too ( though I was not that good like this little boy). In my elementary school, many kids were learning piano. Probably there were more kids who were leaning to play piano than ones who were "not" learning piano. I had hated it when I was very little like 5, but not I appreciate what my parents made me to do ( btw I never received violence )

  • @NStenO I SAY THE SAME! YOU CAN PRACTICE PIANO 8 YEARS OR EVEN MORE, THET THEN WHEN YOU SEARCH ON YOUTUBE THERE'S AND ASIAN PLAYING IT SO NATURALLY THAT YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND.! XD

  • @NStenO Oh god, so true. T^T

  • @NStenO haha, no kidding, their way of life and their mind setting is so different than any other nations. Lots of patience and they will to go beyond what seems average to them and highly skilled to us. Never pleased and always thriving to be the best, but with a lot of modesty.

  • @NStenO

that's why asians are the brain of the world, they have a beautyful culture, without drugs and this shit we have in america

  • unbelievable!!!

Is he really 8 years old?

    oh my god!!!

  • すごぃです!

    いつから習ってるんですか?

  • What is the name of that kid please?

  • @DanyOrguljas @melagads

His name is Hayato Sumino. He is the brother of Mirai Sumino and nephew(?) of Naoko Yamazaki.

  • WOAH! I'M SPEECHLESS!!!!

  • How is this even possible. Aren't his hands too small to play the left hand chords???

  • dang that kewl

  • amazing (: i played this when i was 8 too! :D

  • that is just pure enjoyment

  • I wonder how he will play in 15 years..?

  • @szekspirr carpal tunnel...

  • Insane.

  • oh wow ! he is really good ! omg *o*

  • this piece is so great, chopin was the greatest

  • how old is that video? and who is it?

  • @kashnibuffchek

how do you know? if yes i would agree with you because his parent shouldn't force him.

  • @VahahaY7

Do you really think that an 8 yo boy would practice playing the piano by choice for hours? Im sure that there is pressure by his parents.

  • @kashnibuffchek I belive it because I've seen it. My friend Jen has been diving since she was about 9 or 10 and put in the extra hours training and practicing because she wanted to be the best. She's really good now, though she's not where she herself wants to be, but with her determination it is very possible. Bottom line, if the kid loves it, the parents don't have to pressure him/her into doing a thing.

  • Bravo. Your playing is amazing!

  • すごーい

  • cool...

  • O.O!

  • Nice! Thank you. (TS)

  • this is strange.. I would like to see him at home with his parents..

  • holy$H!T, he hacked his life =P

  • I think we need to compliment the parents more today, the children are raised to be dedicated at one thing and they end up being maestros at it. It may be surprising for us now that we have sources like youtube to show us whats out there. I'm sure 20 years from now , we would find it really ordinary for children his age to play this well.

  • crazy starting!!!

  • Wow! It was impressive!!!!!

  • AWSUM!

  • @BrzNinja If it was 'asian power'... he would be playing asian music, not western classical.

  • @worldgreatestfighter The kid playing is obviously Asian, dipshit.

  • I refuse to be impressed until I see a BABY THAT JUST EMERGED OUT OF THE WOMB to play this

  • he actually plays better than many pianists in the world...or as good as them. definitely not just technical...but he puts feelings. it's cool. i feel bad for the kid tho.... to have to play this piece when his hands are still so small and that just makes it harder to reach the keys.... -_-
