The statue is where his wife and daughter are buried the angel is supposed to be his wife. In the script there was a scene I don't remember if it was a dream or not but that angel is holding a baby and the woman is talking to him he is crying and the baby goes Papa and tries to touch him. I cried at that.

I love twilight and Vampire Chronicals. I think they are both good for different reasons. Twilight was written for teenagers, Vampire Chronicals was written for adults. anne rice is queen. when she commented that stephanie myer's twilight books where "a failure of the imagination" twilight fans went insane and said anne rice was jealous. what does anne rice have to be jealous about? her books are actually good and will go down with sheridan le fanu's carmilla which pre-dated dracula by 25 years (carmilla was published in 1872 and stoker said it inspired dracula) and bram stoker's dracula. anne rice is legend.

I like the way Lestat says this, like it's nothing to be concerned about, that the person he's talking to is going through apparently some very intense, if not extremely agonizing pain as his body is turning into a living corpse. Looks excrutiating.

Lois looks so great when hes vampire.. Those eyes sends a chill down my spine :D Anyway the movie is a exellent vampire story, but I highly recommend the book. Theres so much more feeling in.. It might look heavy from the start, but after hes been bitten you simply cant lie the book down..

Well in Vampire Chronicles holy icons like angels or crosses really have no adverse effect on them, so I doubt it's because of that. I'm more inclined toward Inigo008's idea that he was seeing a real angel, since it would make sense for a vampire to see spirits that mortals cannot.
