I don't really think the duel terminal looks that great to be honest, the concept looks good, I mean battling with your own cards on screen and everything but the cut down dueling you do is not very good.

toms card kingdom has a terminal its 2 duel disks and a large screen the duel disk straps to your arm,scans your cards i.d number and your card shows up on the screen its really cool only 2 people can play so you cant do tag team its awsome really i think every card shop should have one

Since this thing reads the card's serial number, it wont work on cards like the legal Egyptian Gods, because they dont have numbers.

Sadly the technology for that doesn't exist, though we have been able to create holograms-- it is HIGHLY impractical and impossible to do on such a specific surface. I believe you'd have to be completely surrounded by whatever material the hologram is able to reflect off of in order to get the required effect. And even then, it's still very complicated.

you can find duel terminals in few arcades and try going to comic stores or places where they play yu-gi-oh, i live in chicago IL. and i went to collect a card n comics just today and say two duel terminalsi was playing like crazy. You should go online to see if you can find them some places near you because these duel terminals are pretty hard to find and no in too many places

The card you get is random and you scan it in before you actually duel to give you your deck

Yes, you can. On the left side of the card, it says you got it from a duel terminal but they're still playable in TCG.

As far as I know, no.

You can only use the cards that say "Duel Terminal" on them, and you can only get those during promotions or at the arcade.

You can go to Yugioh Wikia and search Duel Terminal for an english translation list of the cards currently available for the machine. If you can read Japanese, you can find the new updated list in the recent issue of V-Jump.

first off yugifan the idea of the Duel terminal is to scan your cards with a scanner not by punching in a few passwords form your card most people see it as a prototype for a real duel disk or the arcade dueling zones from the show. second off there are already some yugioh games for both of those systems so why take a quick duel designed for arcades and port it to a handheld system that already has games but doesnt have something to scan cards.

The rules for the system are different.

Your deck only has 10 cards

When you start the mechine you get a card to can (In my case it was a Dark Magician)

You pick from pre-made Decks based off the card(s) you scan

You only have 3000 LP, up to 3 Monsters on the field, and you start with 3 cards in your hand
