This happened in France when it became a republic. She try and stays out of politics but each PM as a private meetings

She basically has reserve powers for if the country does go into crisis. the only law she really uses is the selection of the PM.

I can imagine her majesty's feeling of utmost honour about UK's anthem, as she embodied the country. A hymnal prayer song, as the nation exalted the Queen, pleading GOD to be with her; As non-Brits, I find this somewhat old fashioned and out dated. However, this is part of the culture which I'm marvelled, how it survived through scores of centuries. She is the only person in UK who does not sing the national anthem because she is the gist of it... GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!
