  • I got the same bike but dirty and rust, but I love it. Next video put the speedometer in the camera with fresh batteries.

  • exact same bike! love that sound!!!

where did you get that seat?? check out my vid!

  • The seat is a standard E1 seat that was recovered at a local shop. No foam cutting was done. It is probably one if not the most comfortable seat that I have ever sat upon on any bike.

  • Nice bike! I have the same bike. where did you get the front splash guard? It looks cool as hell! I gotta have one.

  • That's a cut down stocker. Just sand blasted the chrome off to mostly the base then removed about 4" off each end. Shot it with etching primer then painted. It does about as well as the stock one did in keeping the engine clean. Hint: use a sticky back disc sander sanding disc to make the radius for your cut with a cutoff wheel hand tool, makes the perfect radius and gives you a line to follow. Hit it against a belt sander to clean the edges up and your ready to start the paint process.

  • this is what youtube is made for!

  • man thats a nice bike its alot like my ST, its black as well but with some stripes and 30k miles

  • if you have an ST then you have the same bike as this... the ST and the E1 are the same bike

  • i had the same bike- rode so smooth ,and the carbs are great- they are the only ones with a accelerator pump on the carbs im pretty sure- man those are good carbs, just dial them in right no sputters hesitation ect...

  • Ya I have a Video of the Bike now. Almost ready to go. Bent the back rim and bought another straight one. Just have to clean/polish/paint.

  • Thanks I have a 79 St Shaft E-1 with only 20k original miles on it.

  • You have anything on Youtube of the bike? Mine had 24k on the clock.

  • Thats weird you have the 1980 E-2 side covers. The 79 E-1 has St Shaft on the side covers. Hmmmm

  • Good eye! My ST emblems were in bad shape so I used a set off an '80 I had in the shop.
