  • Yes, Paula, but HOW MANY ONIONS? HOW MANY PIECES OF CELERY? A CUP EACH? That's the annoying thing about her- she never tells the exact amount of stuff she adds to her recipes and that is very unprofessional.

  • @disgrl4 You should really decide for yourself, how much celery, onion, and stock you want to add to the stuffing. I find it best to modify ANY recipe to my liking..... that's the joy in cooking. Happy thanksgiving, and good luck!

  • @disgrl4 you can just go online and see the full recipe just as easy as you came to this video.....she is whats the difference between a chef and a cook..a chef makes cooking like a science...but for her its just in her heart

  • Was that kinda too wet when it went into the oven? I know u leave it a TAD wetter when you do it out of the bird, but that seemed like it would be soggy when done? What do u think?

  • It did look really weird, but I think that it turned out like bread pudding inside and like normal stuffing on top. Did anyone try it?

  • hi shelly, yrs ago I made an erro & put that much liquid in mine, it was pretty bad. I own a cafe now & I am way more particular than Paula often is w/ recipes. I like her but I stopped watching, she has alot of failures & doesnt admit them, so if you follow her way, you waste your time & money. Ever see the one with the real key lime pie (not frozen one). It was a like a pile of green liquid when she cut into it, all she said was she had better cut it later when she had the "proper' spatula!

  • She also clearly wastes resources, too. Had she used less liquid, the eggs would've been unnecessary. I'm sure with all that meat and seasoning, they don't do anything for the recipe except to add shape to the too-wet mixture (i.e., to correct the mistake you point out.) Also, I'm quite sure that you wouldn't be able to taste that butter with all that other stuff in there.

  • We ate at her resturant once, some things were really great, others pretty sad. The prices were through the roof too.

  • @killerklowns84 One thing about Paula (whom I like) but she isnt 100% honest re her mess ups. someday if she does the key lime pie one on tv, watch it. They all make boo boos, its only human, but she covers hers & that is unfair to the folks who will waste time/ money. I made Key Lime pies for yrs at my restaurant & they can be tricky. When hers failed & she saw the mass of goop when she made a slice, she said she was not near the 'proper utensil' so she could not show us a slice. Not right!

    Yeah, they do have bloopers on tv. Oneday, I was watching Rachel Ray prepare a steak. Well, she immediatley went to make a fruit salad and she forgot to wash her hands! I was like awwwwwww cross contamination!!! Ewwwwwww lol!

  • @killerklowns84 PS for what its worth, Ina Garten calls hers "Frozen Key Lime Pie" and serves it frozen! Cuz she cant get hers right either. It looks pretty but we all know frozen pie has no taste. I guess their egos get in the way.

  • @killerklowns84 Hi yes they do have bloopers and some even have some blooper shows..but they dont show how they flubbed it and never told us that the recipe does not work. Thats what annoys me about Paula. She acts like its supposed to be that way (the watery stuffing) or that the pie is fine...and its green lime soup! But other than that dishonesty, I do like her, and I know she is doing too much and often looks totally exhausted (as an old bag, myself) I understand fully. LOL!

  • @killerklowns84 you didnt cook it long enough!! lower the oven increase the cooking time!! let the flavors marry together in the oven!!

  • @great123usa you need it really wet because when it bakes it it hardens it and makes the inside fluffier

  • Yum! This is good stuffing. My parents have made this before and its good. They used the Pepperidge Farm brand stuffing with sausage. It took a certain amount of time for it to all cook together into one simple tasty side dish. One message for you. Happy Thanksgiving!
