I think it's unfortunate that The Jonas Brothers get lumped in with people like Miley Cyrus and some of the other unscrupulous teen entertainers so often. From their comments and actions it is easy to see they are "genuine" good guys and quality role models for todays kids. Awesome job guys and your performance here with Steven was great. joe blends really well with steven. this song inevitably makes me really sad (with his daughter's death). i think that might be why Kevin got emotional; anyone with a heart would get a little teary if you knew the story of the song when it was first composed versus what it means to the Chapmans now.

well before the were really famous they talked about it a lot more but i dont think disney really wants them to be so out about it. they all wear purity rings and have said its "a commitment to god and themselves to respect a woman" and their father used to be a pastor, if you search for it there is a video of kevin and his dad singing at church as well as joe. theres a lot of things that made me figure that out. lol.

For those of you who don't know the story, this song was not written after the accident that claimed the life of his daughter Maria. It was inspired by her and her older sister Stevey Joy. However, since the accident, when he sings it live, he changes the last verse in honor of Maria. If you have a chance, check out his song "Yours." Truly moving.
