Because the major oil industries that will take control of the oil fields will continue to fund the politicians that gave the order to take control of the oil fields. As long as these industries continue to make money they will give money back to the politicians who started the war in the first place, keeping them rich and continuing this plutocracy. Did the petroleum industry have record profits? yes and yes.. the US is sitting on that oil, i know its hard for people to accept that they were they were lied to, and conned by our Government, and it takes a person with lots of courage to admit they were duped, I was fooled also back then.
