  • Sadly a lot of truth to this.

  • I LOVED this video!!

  • What about plant rights? every day humans violate the right of plants to survive!

  • @hortulanus94 You clearly do not know where food comes from. Most plants are not killed when they are harvested. Grains such as rice and wheat are harvested after the plant has died naturally. Fruits and vegetables are parts grown by the plants again and again, for consumption, so that their seeds are dispersed. And plants lack a central nervous system.

Or are you so delusional that you do not know the difference between driving your car over a lawn, and driving over a dog?

  • Looking for "Jasmin and Lily" videos of a german tv show was how I got to this video. Nice surprise though! I like it even if i didn't understand completly what your saying (I need more english lessons).

I live in Mexico and I haven't experienced that in my -recent- vegan diet; but the sad thing is that there is no vegan restaurant here; I have searched in the internet and the nearest is one in Arizona, but my visa expires today :(

    Contratulations for winning!

  • well i recon its a great film and you know what i had never even heard of a vegan before this film so it taught me something new and everyone involved in it was great i say good work and a great lesson

  • For what I'm assuming is a first for most involved in this production, I think they have pulled it off. It was well informed and still funny. I especially like the "prawns are an animal sweetie" "No they're not" part. Good job guys!

  • continued from my last comment.

but after the half way mark there isnt really much to complain about.

I am aware that you wanted criticism on the editing.. but didnt really have any, seemed to have been the best that could have been done with the shoddy characters and script.

  • @MrRCPresident Cheers, Ross. Sound was one of the many headaches with it (which we spammed about on the Rage Girl! page so I won't get into here). I think for future projects I'll ensure the producer hires a sound designer instead of just letting the job be lumped onto us without giving us enough time to do magic for them. I have one course under my belt in sound design and it takes a lot more than that to be awesome at it! Maybe I should do another course...

  • @illusiveimpact I became a vegan for health and spiritual reasons, and to save this earth! Meat, dairy, gluten and sugar is Poison!

  • @5tonyvvvv humans evolved to be omnivores.

  • @hortulanus94 Man is a Vegan plant based diet! You are just another Indoctrinated brainwashed moron by the food industry!!

  • @hortulanus94 Homochirality is a disaster for naturalistic origins. All amino acids in proteins are 'LEFT-handed', while all sugars in DNA and RNA, and in the metabolic pathways, are 'RIGHT-handed'. Chirality!

A 50/50 mixture of left- and right-handed forms is called a racemate or racemic mixture!!. Which life can't use!! Its what we see in nature and in labs!

Life never came about by time chance natural processes! IMPOSSIBLE!!!

  • @hortulanus94 Intelligence is needed to create software code or assemble a computer! FAR MORE intelligence is needed for the assemblance of the first Cell and thereby DNA. A DNA code is far more complex in design than All the Worlds Softwares COMBINED!! Therefore we can deduce Intelligent DESIGN! Homochirality and hydrolysis would prevent life from ever starting! It is chemically and mathematically impossible for a single protein to form by chance!

  • you can hear a whole bunch of feet shuffling and stuff when people are getting up and down to do their "speech" in the classroom at the start.

when you split one piece of dialogue over two shot or three shot angles, the audio quality and level changes far to clearly.

audio levels are sometimes way low when the person speaking is right in front of the camera.

were a few times when you had one person in foreground and one in background and neither were in full proper focus.

  • Great little film. The only niggle was the fairly obvious inexperience of the actors, but the message was a good one.

I don't know what you had to work with for editing, but the finished product hangs together well, so nicely done. :)

  • @Ironblade1975 Thanks for the feedback!

Curious - I'm guessing you sub'd me after I spammed on Twitter and Facebook? If it was Twitter, what's your username? I want to make sure I'm following you. :)

  • @illusiveimpact Guess!

A hint? OK, I tweeted that I spotted @happysinger on the train, the other day...

  • @Ironblade1975 Hmmmm. A lot of people spot him though! My pigeon friends tell me all the time!

  • @illusiveimpact OK, another clue?

We first met at the Simon Singh lecture in July '09...

  • @Ironblade1975 I totally tweeted you before, Frode! (Also, your username here is kinda lame-ish. :P)
