  • looks like beyonces single ladies

  • @737kc could well be

  • it looks like they used another crane to film this! that was some smooth work

  • очень понравилась плавность! дорогая, профессиональная техника*

  • great vid!

  • ehm, any ideas how to build it from bits found in my local DIY store? :D it seems simple.. LOL :D

  • nice CGI

  • wheres the sound dude ?

  • Crane Envy

  • Клево!!!!)))))

  • Can I Have It, FO FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?

    XD

  • ahh, only around $3m

  • I'll take two please.

  • Somehow, I suddenly feel inadequate.

  • It's Nice stuff, but build your own is way cooler and not so expensive.

  • Now you dont have to buy a dolyl. I bet you could get some awesome vertigo shots with that.

  • wat a beauty

  • $40,000

I'd rather buy a nice car.

Seriously guys. Instead of spending tens of thousands of dollars buying this. Find out how it's built and what makes it so good. Buy your materials, and create something equally good if you know how to build stuff. (and if you don't, then learn!)

  • @sonicballer8888 due to its price it is more of an investment, a large studio would use it on many projects. for a single project a company would lend it for a fee, smaller studios or indie film makers are more likely to rent this

  • I wondered how they got those great shots on "Who Want's to Be a Millionaire" until I found out about the Technocrane (the first telescopic crane like this).

  • i think someone forgot to turn the lights on!

  • @Jay1967 nah it's just the camera-dude with his stupid camera on auto-exposure

  • wow

  • learn how to speak english

  • You can hire one for $1200 for the day...

  • I'm sitting here with my eyes wide open. WOW...I love it. Where can I find out more? I have an EZ FX jib crane and now after seeing this I feel like I'm back in the dark ages.

  • Is the parallelgram hidden inside the telescoptic part or does the head just hang by gravity, I notice at the head 2 conections to the PT head which indicates telecoping paralellagrm

    Please answer my Q

  • maybe 40,000

  • Now that's --- A MONSTER ;) to have......ehhh

  • top quality engineering

  • What's Ironic is that they probably recorded this with another Jib.

  • You can either go to college or use the money to buy this crane. Which one would you choose?

  • hey cool one that is really advance i dont think i need that my home made Jib is more simple and can do the same work, I m fine witout the fancy one..good job though

  • muito fera legal mesmo so gostaria de sabe o valor???

  • wow man the retail on that looks pretty high

  • whats the jib called??

  • aww... i want. holy hell.

  • Thats NOT in my indie projects budget. hehe.

    Whats the price on that?

  • I'd like to know the price on that JIB! It's awesome & I could really use it.

  • I worked with allmost the same jib.. The owner spent about $95000. Its expencive stuff.

    But its worth the money:)

  • I don't think its worth it... in order to make a medium budget movie, you need something like 70000$ ... + a lot of help from friends and relatives, so this jib is stupidly complex and expensive :)))

  • Its hard to get some shots with an normal crane. And with a live production y dont want the crane in your way/shot.. Its the Perfect Crane if you got the money, And the people who know how to use it.

.You should also take a look at the XTREME T12..

  • You can rent them by the day here in Canada for $1500.00 + Crane Tech rates (usually around $500.00) + Dolly Grip ($350.00 + )

Budget yourself for at least $2500.00 per day for a techno crane...not including OT rates if its a union gig, but the 2500 hundred is a good number for a commercial gig for the day.

    Good Luck

  • How does a person get plugged into and find local Union's; what are the suggested search terms on Google?

Looking for ways of finding job's as a Dolly Grip in the New England area. Recently moved from Portland Oregon. I have Cameras and other equipment looking to make CA$H. So far only using craigslist. THANKS SO MUCH!

  • @dynamicdavid Two years ago, sorry I didn't find you sooner. Google IATSE, any more questions, send me a message

  • I've forgot to also mention the power-pod tech.

He would also be around $400-600 for the day...budget him in or you wont have any pan tilt rotate movement to you shot...which makes getting this type of crane all the more worth it.

    Good Luck once again.

  • Give it to me. NOW!!!

  • how many cost one like this?

  • i wish is had one of these

  • merde!!

  • This is obviously alien technology...

  • How many feet is this Jib? 24?

  • amazing crane.

  • It does....saw it at NAB 2007 with Jimmy Jib electronics.

  • its a very good jib how many US dolar is it???

  • U.B.F.

  • i so you in nab las vegas you smart bravo

  • expensive crane bad ugly camera

  • Wait, its not a Supertechno Crane, but has a old cammate head on it....talk to me. Does the operator of the jib also control the camera, while swinging and teloscoping? Zoom/Focus/Pan/Tilt/Arm/Telescope?

  • Usually the operation of this type of crane will fall into the Dolly Grips hands, with the crane tech being responsible for the telescoping...but there are times when the Dolly Grip will control all the movements....zoom/focus/iris are controlled by the 1st assistant camera, pan and tilt fall into the cinematographers hands on a gear head.
