Yeah she may has a powerful voice but there are a lot that she can't do while others can... What I hate about her style is that, she screams the high parts. Though not flat yet scream. Parang nagiging bukaka na yung voice niya.. But she's good, she's just "maybe" over-using her voice....

rachelle's arrangement was taken from regine's arrangement. meaning, her version is regine's version. its amazing that rachelle can do a regine version of call me. regine really leaves her mark on the song. but rachelle's version is DEFINITELY NOT BETTER. In her high and sustained notes, rachelle sounded less controlledl and her projection is neither at par with regine's projection. her voice was shaky, some flat belted notes or desofnados and her voice sounded exhausted towards the end

I agree. Rachelle was good, and she's definitely better than most female singers in her age group. But to compare her to Regine is detrimental to Shin.

Rachelle was able to hit the high note yes, but it was not as powerful or as controlled as Regine's. And the rest of her performance of the song, had a lot of flaws. She obviously could not handle the continuous belting which is very easy for Regine.

wow. I love the CD version of this, but Regine always sounds more amazing LIVE. Gah, the arrangement of this song is only for the gutsiest and skilled of vocalists. The notes RV rips out here are no joke. I ADORE the Blondie original. But I also love this cover because Regine made a new version. Not a copy.
