Just saw them on Jimmy Kimmel. Lip Singing or over dubbing the vocals with the orginal track... I'd rather him sing shitty then not do it at all.

in fact, is not a situation in which the artist dubs the playback misleading the public, as some pop stars do (britney, ...).

What happens here is that the artist interacts with some tracks. And this is done with franqueza.não no intention to deceive anyone. and at no time he provides the voice but sings together to create an effect with it.

Still figuring out if I like this band or not. It's a decent album, but don't think I'd go see them live if they're doing that shit.

@fabfauna Even the intro. guitar harmonics seem fake to me, which sucks because I've seen them live like 3x now (as recently as 2009) and it was all killer/NO filler, as it should've been. Give the rest of their catalog a listen.

@LucyWithFur actually he is using a vocal pedal - that allows him to sing a line and then have it loop - kind of like a delay for a guitar - he used to use delay but it would get very noisy during the songs so he's moved on to another kind of "alteration" :)

For someone who love rock, I never heard of Jane's Addiction. I remember his wife doing this reality show and that's that! But check out Janes music and I am blown away. I downloaded all of these songs and have being playing them all day! Janes Addictions has another fan. The guitar chores and bass with these guys are awesome! Love em!
