I disagree about it not being reciprocal. How else to you build your community if you are going to be too arrogant to add others back? I say add them all UNLESS they give you reason not to.
nice tips - not just for Photogs - been looking for a was to share more info on profile - so the question to circle or not can be resolved... great tip :: G+ Profile > Employment > details here
Scott Kelby is terrible about interrupting people just take at look at his online training workshops and tutorials. I realize he is a "good" photographer but there are many better than him. He needs to let the good people he hires for these tutorials etc. do their thing and choose their own words and limit his know it all comments! He talks too darned much in this tip tutorial yet again.
ah interesting. I put my photography business on google+ the minute I was let in. It is 100x better then facebook for functionality and i'm glad I'm able to make it completely public so anyone can use it.
bretdhogan : You don't need "friends" on Google Plus to make Circles. Whenever you see someone on Google Plus who you want to put into a Circle you just do it.
You *can* reorder the photos at the top of one's profile. You click on Photos in the black strip along the top of Google+, then click on Scrapbook Photos, then Organize, then drag the photos to reorder them.
Awwww, how cute. People still think that the DPI setting in ANYTHING other than printing has any effect. 72DPI? really? Just put in 10,000 and see what happens. ☺ I use 1 , it freaks out people if they try to grab it and print :P
@BLACKSHIRTSTUDIO you're right, but 72 DPI became a synonym for "displayed on screen".
I really want to know that bloke, who had this stupid idea! I mean, it only confuses people, but as soon as they understand what DPI means and how it works, it's obvious that it doesn't effect the size, when displayed on screen.
I think Google Plus is more beneficial to guys like Scott, Matt, and RC who have lots of people looking at their stuff than it is for someone like me trying to get started. How do you make circles if you have no friends on Google Plus?
@bretdhogan you can add as many people as you want to to your own circle and when you create a post you can limit who you want to share with. The other people who have you in circles will also be able to say if they want to see the circle you are in on their feed. I would recommend just keep posting and you will slowly build your photography base.
Awesome video! Learned a lot! What I would like to know more about is amateur photographers and how they should use google+.
I want the critiques that people are willing to give. I post all of my photos with "I would love to hear what you think about this photo!" I am here to learn more from the everyday person on google+.
Thank you again for making awesome and informative videos!!!!
Thanks. Some good tips in there. It will help at my second attempt to like Google+.

LMFAO If I were Matt I'd get so pissed at Scott at the end of the video, cause Scott kept on interrupting Matt so many times...

you touched on the ability to hide comments at the ten minute mark while viewing photos, how do you go about doing that?
