@TheMilitaryTactics thats so true, a special pen is required, for example if you lose a pen in the cockpit of a fighter plane..... can get stuck in something important, therefore they have to take the jet into maintance just to find say a lost pen.

@gasripper2 The best pilot in the world in WW I biplane, wouldn't win a german pilot in ME-262. What am I talking about? Difference of generations. F-15 was first of 4th generation fighters and it is a great plane. 5th gen fighters have HUGE advantage over it.... Most of 4th gen fighters has RCS of 5-10m^2... All AESA radars can see this at 300-400km away... "A good American pilot" needs at least an adequate modern plane in order to have an upper hand. Sorry, but F-15 is "yesterday"...

The Eurofighter doesn't come close to the technology that the Raptor has. There are plenty of evolutionary cycles that the Raptor would go through and would stay on top of the game. No doubt, the Eurofighter is a great Air Superiority 4th-Gen fighter. However it is the Raptor which is the true Air Superiority 5th-Generation fighter, which has no equal for decades to come.

@dbell91 i heard about MiG-29s pwning eurofighters in middlerange and close range and the only thing they couldn't win the long range, is because the 29's outdated radar. i wouldn't even dare to compare the euro to the f-22 (not to mention f-35) but still, it is not the plane but the pilot who can turn the tide.
