  • Is there a way to avoid using resistors ? (in order to use 5Volt LED diodes)

  • It is wrong. First of all current is to weak for such number or leds. Second it is a wrong way to regulate diod, it can be demaged. Diods light intensity should be regulated through impulsive current module.

In short way, it is amateur work.

  • @zhymka however this works...

  • @zhymka USB specs state this port can deliver up to 500mA at 5 volts. This configuration with 7 LEDs is probably drawing between 130mA to 160mA. And that's a generous estimate. Using a 200 Ohms resistor I can't see the LEDs receiving 20mA but more in the range of 10mA.

Kind of brazen of you to call this amateur work and you write such an amateur comment.

  • i made the same with a batterie charger and mine is blinking ;D

  • dude thanks for your video , Dude tell me 1 thing weather u have connected the LED in series or parallel that's the only doubt i had

  • @Roh1290 from the wiring diagram in the video it appears to be parallel. with 5 volts from USB port and the use of white LEDs it almost has to be a parallel configuration. white LEDs typically require at least 3 volts.

  • Are those 3V LEDs?

  • @JotaLegendOfficial Yes , read desc....

  • @goodpaste yeah, I kindda rushed.. Thanks! nice vid..
