The final duel between Sharpe & Dragomirov reminds me of the final fight scene in "Gladiator", between Maximus (Crowe) and Emperor Commodus (Phoenix). The hero has to be seriously injured first, for the villain to have a chance at winning .. and neither villain is the "nobleman" he presents himself to be, if he'd think it's a fair fight to go against a badly injured man!

They are Marwaris or Kathiawaris – you can see this best by the ears of the horses at 2:50 to 2:53 on Sharpe's Peril 2 part 4. The others are all standard warmbloods and hotbloods.

Dragamirov was awesome in this episode, Very graceful with a sword too.
it was like watching a bad bond villain throughout.
He captured Sharpe and the girl, treated him as his guest and told him all his plans, tried to make him join him then left him to possibly die creatively in something he can escape from.
