@sistersavage great to hear. chicken broth works just fine. subscribe to our channel for more fun cooking shows, we'll be doing another dog biscuit show soon. eric.
@erochow If you wanna know a recipe I made for dog food and treats I will post it as a video response sorry if it is small cause I am using a ipod touch till I get my flip video what kind of camera do you use
@BoJigglebum you can use regular or natural peanut butter. its not enough to make a difference if you don't feed them the whole batch at once. thx, eri c
I feel so bad for my dog! He loves theese sooooo much it stands around the cabinet BEGGING and I mean BEGGING for more what should I do By the way love the recipe thanks
This was so easy! I had everything in my house already, and had such fun making the biscuits! I even just used a pizza cutter to quickly slice it up into a million little rectangles to cook. I left them in the oven after cooking, heat turned off, for about an hour to dry out more. Then later, by evening, the treats were just as crunchy and hard as you could want any dog treat to be! My Standard Poodle loves them! Thanks so much!
You could always use a different flour I find rice flour works well a bit drier than regular flour so sometimes you need more of the wet ingredient in it. Peanut butter is fine in moderation like any treat. Pre bought beef broth and stock cubes can contain a lot of salt though better off boiling up a couple of meaty beef bones and using that water instead. N you do need to be exact in baking lol.
Wheat isn't good for dogs. Think about it, wheat is a highly-processed product that has no basis as a food for canines. Even many humans are allergic to wheat and gluten but unfortunately every commercial dog treat uses wheat, I was looking for wheat-free recipes. I also think peanut butter is questionable ingredient.
I've made these biscuits for quite some time even before I came across this recipe.....I suggest adding about a 1/2 teaspoon of crush garlic to this as well. Not only is it good for them....over time it repels fleas.
thats the beeest recipe i've seen ever! ur so right! i dunno why people just try to make it all complicated with ingredients god knows where they get and flavours i havent even tried...you just have to make sure the ingredients ur using arent goin to kill the dog, mix it all together, throw it at them and the'll eat it!
a good idea is to roll the dough like spaghetti but a bit thicker, that way you can take a strip for each training session and just tear off little bits.
You're quite generous giving your dog entire biscuits xDDD
lol i am a kid im looking for a good resupy and you said this would be good for kids i'll try it. i think i mite make em' smaller you see im training my nabers dog for 4-H and its a palmaranion so there little. when i said there i mean the other dgo they have
I love how u ate one first, very cool. This is awesome.. maybe a little less of the river in the beginning.. lol... thanks! my dog LOVES them... I also baked these and gave the extras to my local humane league, the dogs there loved them even more!
i <3 dogs 4:20 u make hart :) u love ur dogs ur dog like licking bowl :) u take good care of ur doggies :) they are cute :) u are funny i like ur speacial tool :) fork... i love cooking and my animals but i dont have a dog yet. when u eat a bit first it shows ur the boss thats cool u are cool
Hey, loved the idea for the biscuits and will try them myself. My concern is for the dog who is panting in the water. I think you should have his heart checked out. Shouldn't be panting like that.
I am making these biscuits right now. Very excited to try them (for the dogs).

Fantastic Idea!
My dog, she's a border terrier
and unfortunatly is epileptic, due to the dog food we fed her,
i would love to know if theres any dry complete dog food out there with low salt levels and my dog will enjoy!
i think she's getting very bored of her regular food. if you could help that would be muchly appreciated!
