I own an M3 with the magazine extension installed for household use. Unfortunately I'm all out of the beanbag rounds (used on ballistic tests), and all I have left at this time are 00 buck. Here in my "country", California, that would make it even odds with the bad guys who carry conceiled/illegal/modified firearms. I am extremely satisfied with my M3. Of course, it is my back up.

But I'm not sure about the legality of it in my counrty.

Apparently, in Canada, you can't have a Semi-Auto with a magazine that holds MORE THAN 4 SHELLS.(4 in mag, 1 in chamber)

However, any other action, and the gun must simply not be able to hold 10 rounds(1 in the chamber, up to 8 in the magazine tube).

This raises an issue for me, because the M3 holds 5 in the tube, plus 1 in the chamber.

Any input from people who know their stuff would be appreciated.

Yeah I suppose. I still will always prefer my Saiga simply for the fact that it's quick to reload and simple to maintain. Very accurate with slugs as well, even with the 19 inch barrel. Surprisingly good gun for the money.

a)if you are shooting at 25 yards then it is most likely not home defence

b) for home defense a slightly larger spread is good, wider critical hit zone causes more shock to the central nervous system

Great designs. Not a big fan of overlapping forearms, though. The Fabarm FP-6 has that type of forearm that overlaps the receiver, but can also accept a non-overlapper, so maybe these can also.

You have a Ferrari, and a Mustang.

Both are nice cars, but one is nicer than the other. One may be faster, one may handle better.

In the end, it's price that determines if it's better for you.

In my opinion, Benelli makes THE best shotguns, but Remington makes great shotguns cheaper.

I like Benelli's semi's better than their pumps, and I would trust it more than an 1100.
