  • Sealed mine last night hope they turn out

  • i bought some rubber sealer and sealed mine on my bike, worked pretty well

  • Do you still own the bike that you fixed the diaphragm with hondabond? How has the repair held up? How much mileage/time on the fixed carb diaphragm?

Have you pulled the carbs again to look at how the patch is holding up?

    Thanks for the video.

  • No! I sent that bike straight back to the gates of hell from which it came.

    lol

Actually i sold it. But almost a year later the carbs were working just fine still. Bike was still a piece with stuff that needed replacing left and right but the carbs held up wonderfully.

  • Hey KT250,

    Thanks for the reply.

Verrrry interesting. I pulled my carbs a few weeks ago, and both diaphragms had tears in them. I tried a number of compounds, and thanks to finding your video, I found Hondabond to be the best. I've repaired my diaphragms with it, but have yet to reinstall them to test.

Thanks again for the great video and the reply.

  • Awesome. That 140 per vacuum piston was just a bit much for me. There's always got to be a better way to get by.
