I agree that there was no use to post this because this is a video site and well I don't call that much of a video. On the other hand I have played many a restaurant and had to deal with this type of crowd noise but I can also say that if the person doing the recording was way back in the middle of the crowd what did he expect he would pick up? The people closer to the band stand might have been listening intently. The crowd did applaud him when the tune was over.
People in Downtown Austin need to learn some manners! This was one of the most rude and inconsiderate crowds I have ever heard in my life. Not that you can't make noise during a concert but, dang! Flat out 300 fully audible conversations going at one time during a solo....or during any music at all? If the Elephant Room is always like that, I'm not going. I don't even know why someone posted this video. It's a disgrace to Austin and to Wynton.
I said "To Wynton" cause he should've just stopped playing and told everyone to shut up or he's walkin out. What was he thinking? Could have taught the audience a lesson if you ask me.
Wynton is a professional and knows that sometimes you get the peanuts and sometimes you get the shells.
