I'm not sure if that's before or after...but I want to say it's before. At this point, it's Scotty and Lucy that's an item and poor schmuck Alan hasn't got a clue. At this point in time, Tracy is paired off, comedically, with Larry Ashton. I love Ashton. LOL

why were 4 actress to play dawn Monica's daughter, who's her father, isn't the character dead? That means Monica has lost two daughter's Dawn & Emily.

I guess they couldn't find the right Dawn until the last actress. Her father is David Langton who shows up on the show in a year or two on Monica's operating table. It spirals into a malpractice suit storyline involving Monica, AJ and David Langton's other daughter Nicki. Monica has indeed lost two daughters. To date: two daughters, 1 son, 1 husband, 1 mother-in-law - no wonder she's drinking.
