I've never seen a tree invent a GPS system. I've never seen a brick negotiate a peace treaty. I think that man's ability to reason is what sets us apart from other animals. If we can discern a means to travel to the moon or build a combustion engine, then we can discern whether or not a god which interferes in our lives is present far better than any human invention can discern ANYTHING. Any god that doesn't interfere in our lives doesn't matter.

I didn't catch this the first time it aired. I didn't understand why the moderator let Kirk and Ray ramble on and on and on without rebuttal, and then when it was time for the other side to speak, he kept interrupting and letting Ray and Kirk interrupt.

My videos are done in a style as if you were sitting down with me and we were having a conversation. I personally like the flow. 2400+ others do to. 89 viewers average it to a 4* rating...so...uh...To each their own.
In my opinion, they did not do a great job. Average at best. What was most disappointing to me was that they started by saying they would not use faith as an argument... but that's exactly what they did the entire second half. They did have a few good moments that redeemed them from complete failure though. Other times, I was practically pulling out my hair for them to respond with the obvious responses to the Rational Response Squad's comments - who were also completely disappointing to me.
Cameron never really made sensible arguments. I enjoy his enthusiasm and undieing faith but he never presents a convincing case and always likes to mess around a little on the logic.
Never isn't accurate at all. He had a good moment when Ray C. was stumbling to find an answer, so Cameron stepped in to explain how Jesus is completely independent from religion. Anyone in the world can know Jesus by seeking a nameless, faceless God - and God will lead them to become a Christian.
You may not agree with that, or Cameron's answer, but it was a good response to the question, and it ended discussion on that issue.

I've never seen a tree invent a GPS system. I've never seen a brick negotiate a peace treaty. I think that man's ability to reason is what sets us apart from other animals. If we can discern a means to travel to the moon or build a combustion engine, then we can discern whether or not a god which interferes in our lives is present far better than any human invention can discern ANYTHING. Any god that doesn't interfere in our lives doesn't matter.

I didn't catch this the first time it aired. I didn't understand why the moderator let Kirk and Ray ramble on and on and on without rebuttal, and then when it was time for the other side to speak, he kept interrupting and letting Ray and Kirk interrupt.
I was very disappointed in their treatment, like the moderator was on Kirk and Ray's side the whole time and thought they deserved more camera/air time.

Well take your fucking pick of his other crazy preacher friends. Ron Parsley (his "spiritual guide") or John Hagee. Obama has one pastor who he has publicly disagreed with; while McCain has not disagreed with any of his pastors' comments. And plus do you really want another 4 years of Bush, or 100 years more occupation in Iraq. And if you do then you sir are fucked in the head!

If you are a human and you vote for McCain then you are a murderer and an agent of intolerance. And if anything Obama's pastor's comments have been used as right wing propaganda. And I actually agree with a lot of his comments (excluding religious ones). Also I think Obama being a christian is a front, I believe he's an atheist. McCain is a real Christian; you are a hypocrite! I will not respond to any more of your comments, I grant you the last word.

And as a side note - KingHeathen - you should seriously consider editing your videos to get rid of all that dead air. What you have to say is interesting, but nobody wants to sit and listen to the buzz of your microphone while you yawn or groan.

My videos are done in a style as if you were sitting down with me and we were having a conversation. I personally like the flow. 2400+ others do to. 89 viewers average it to a 4* rating...so...uh...To each their own.

In my opinion, they did not do a great job. Average at best. What was most disappointing to me was that they started by saying they would not use faith as an argument... but that's exactly what they did the entire second half. They did have a few good moments that redeemed them from complete failure though. Other times, I was practically pulling out my hair for them to respond with the obvious responses to the Rational Response Squad's comments - who were also completely disappointing to me.

Cameron never really made sensible arguments. I enjoy his enthusiasm and undieing faith but he never presents a convincing case and always likes to mess around a little on the logic.

Never isn't accurate at all. He had a good moment when Ray C. was stumbling to find an answer, so Cameron stepped in to explain how Jesus is completely independent from religion. Anyone in the world can know Jesus by seeking a nameless, faceless God - and God will lead them to become a Christian.
You may not agree with that, or Cameron's answer, but it was a good response to the question, and it ended discussion on that issue.
