Seal are killed inhumanely. Clubbing isnt humane. Now lets be realistic. When a serial murderer rapist or a criminal against humanity are either life in prison or getting the death penalty, their remains are wasted when it could be use for research to find cure for disease. Some members of PETA are too extreme, but it's main goals are very honorable - no fur trading (look up chinese fur to see why), no factory farming, no horrible animal treatment for entertainment (think circuses), and making sure animals in labs aren't abused and tortured.
PETA is not in support of animals being treated kindly in labs, they don't want the animals to be there in general, even though preliminary tests are done on animal cells first, PETA is still against it.

As for you loving animals, are you sure? You find a vegetarian lifestyle to be a challenge, you wear animals, and you feel that people are more important than chickens. What ever happened to the word equal? We are all equal. I mean, a blade of grass is actually more important and has more purpose than humans do, LOL, but although humans are absolutely useless, we are still equal to a pig, chicken, or fish.

I hate PETA, but this video is just ignorant. Factory farmed meat, dairy, and eggs is animal abuse. The fact that you make fun of vegans shows how ignorant you are. Everything is wrong with wearing animals. This is the 21st century. Not the 1300s. Fur/wool is not necessary. The way we obtain our wool is indeed cruel. Circuses, animal racing, and rodeos are also cruel ways of entertainment. There is nothing wrong with zoos/aquariums. There are plenty of products that do not test on animals.

PETA is a horrible organization, but what you make fun of in this video is you insulting what all animal welfare and animal rights groups believe...er..know. The only thing you got right about PETA was the fact that they believe in total animal liberation, they kill pets, and that we can't have pets. And PETA is right, along with every other animal rights group, the holocaust is modern day factory farms. Was Ingrid comparing Jews to chickens..uh no. Pay attention. She was comparing the practice.

I might not know much about this, and there people that take the animal cruelty too far. But I think some people just wanna push the fact that animals are suffering aside, just because they like the taste of meat or they are use to the cruelty. I never really enjoyed meat but what's the problem w/treating them like living things and killing them w/as little pain as possible? If they would treat them better, I would eat meat, milk products and eggs; then again maybe I won't.

2 corrections:
1. Museling of sheep does actually hurt sheep. As long as you consider large strips of their flesh being ripped off by the shears a hurtful act.

It seems that you visited the FCC propaganda site, there are a lot of facts that are wrong here.
Wool does harm the sheep, they use "Mulesing" in the process, that pretty much is cutting the skin of their behinds, google "Mulesing"
PETA is not agains having "Pets", not sure how you made up this topic.
Also no, PETA is not agains medications either, they just push for regulations and new laws to change this old fashioned and dangerous procedures from the FDA. They're against cosmetic testing.

Actually for down they either kill the bird or live pluck them, which is actually kinda worse.
Though even AS a vegetarian and animal rights person I think Peta is insane. And what's worse is that they're so prevalent that people judge me by them, assuming that's how we all think.

I call them 'Herbivores' and they are fair game in my book. Not that I would eat them if an alternative meat source was available. I am all for free speech and I am used to my opinions for being dissed, however as someone who has seal hunting in my family history, I will not tolerate threats from someone who knows nothing about the industry, (and who actually thinks that seals are clubbed).

They have hijacked the term 'animal welfare', but actually, animal welfare is an obstruction to them, because well kept animals can't be exploited.

Also fur is cruel because animal are trapped, clubbed, stomped whacked and inhumanely killed in the name of profit, many trappers wont use guns to dispatch because it devalue the hide. Yes is profit. People who buys fur are selfish cus they spend a fortune on fur rather buying a wool (Im not against wool cus the sheep isnt killed and wool is inexpensive) or other cheap thing to use the chunk of money to save endangered species, WWF & saving the rainforest. Beside they use toxic crap to preserve fur from rotting such as Formaldehyde, chrome, sodium etc. Inbred hicks claims fur is green are moron, fur isnt green, trapper burn lots of gas to check their sets. Seal are killed inhumanely. Clubbing isnt humane. Now lets be realistic. When a serial murderer rapist or a criminal against humanity are either life in prison or getting the death penalty, their remains are wasted when it could be use for research to find cure for disease. I have no problem for human experiment against murderers, serial killer, rapist etc and sick people like Shoko Asahara. But killing innocent species is wrong. People wearing fur are disgusting is just like wearing human skin.

Just for the record zaxtor, I live in a province where seal hunting is the norm, I know how the industry works, and I must say, I don't know of anyone who uses the hakipik anymore (It's a old method that not even the Inuit use anymore). We shoot the seals, eat the meat, use the oil for Omega-3's, use the flippers for pie, and wear the fur. You think fur is disgusting... fine, don't wear it.

Also yes fake fur it is made from oil but real one uses lots of energy.
To make them, trapping animals uses lots of gas.
One study from 1979 states that the energy consumption for the production of one coat made out of fake fur was given with 120 MBtu , compared to 433 MBtu for trapped animals and 7,965 MBtu for animals raised in fur farms .
So do not wear fake nor either real because they both pollute the environment.

Real fur is better for the enviroment then the fake stuff, but even when it comes to fur, I am picky. I wear a seal skin coat because the whole animal was used, meat, flippers, blubber... all of it. Taking the skin and not the meat is a waste, also taking the meat and leaving the pelt behind is a waste too.

I'm not PETA member but I am against sport hunting, trophy hunting, circuses, rodeo, dog fighting, cockfighting and any other animal fighting. Also against trapping, fur, liars, corrupted people like trappers are. I am not against zoos because they play a role in combating against species from going extinct. I prefer zoo with diversity, large enclosure so animals don't dance backward and forward. I eat meats, fish, drink milk but I respect vegetarian and vegan. I do not wear synthetic fur either

Some members of PETA are too extreme, but it's main goals are very honorable - no fur trading (look up chinese fur to see why), no factory farming, no horrible animal treatment for entertainment (think circuses), and making sure animals in labs aren't abused and tortured.

PETA is not in support of animals being treated kindly in labs, they don't want the animals to be there in general, even though preliminary tests are done on animal cells first, PETA is still against it.
I am all for animal welfare, but PETA goes about it all wrong, and they actually expect to be taken seriously, all they have done is made a laughing stock out of themselves.
