how many of what do you have ? ive got 6 mac 250 cryptons and 4 mac 250 washes, 5 Scroller Units and enough generics to shake a stick at, is it possible to do what you have with that gear ?

...i use a Strand 430 light counsel and i have no problem with running that at all and using that board creatively. so i was wondering if you could give me any quick pointers on "how" or "what" to look for in a dance/music that i could use robotics on or with. we have 3 days left of tech rehearsal so if at all possible you could give me some insight asap that would be great (we have for Mac 550s hung which is not alot to work with but that all we really can afford, also no hazer)

hey, im a high school lighting technician and ive been working with the Mac 550 fixtures for 3 years now (for a week at a time) for my schools spring dance concert. (with all genres of dance) were using the avolites 2004 moving light controll. i have the functions of the the lights learned pretty well and how to use those functions on the counsel, one thing im not experienced in tho is how to use the robotics in a creative way that makes since to the application. what should happen when its cooled down? i tryed this yesterday in the disco where i work as LJ but it dident do anything, was hopeing the fog would stay down on the ground longer but dam ventalation blows it all around right away -.-

the smoke gets thicker when its cooled down, making it stay ground level and look alot thicker mate,

effects wizard actually has a product that connects to the machine itself

looks kind of funny because its actually a cooler when mesh in the inside to hold the ice up and a chamber below that for the smoke to enter and exit

Like the video...only have a few suggestions. Nothing major. During some parts a few lights share the same spot on stage... maybe space them out so they each have a dot. Maybe more of a fan. Also, make use of some of those dead dark times. Theres probably stuff coming up by the looks of it but I just can't make it out on the video.

Around 1:40, the red light is coming from the 4 scrollers, I do admit I hang there for a while. Anyone have suggestions for other effects that i could do there?

Your going to much in the red zone(the place where the Mac hang) that gives an unproffessional view. But it's worth looking at. Great light versus song!

3 Mac 600's, 2 Mac 500's. I do agree that the Obsession II is hard to program on. I will soon add Eos to my resume and hopefully will be able to get some programming jobs in the future.

Never been an ETC console fan.

I spec Diamonf 4 for Festival work, Hog 3 for Corprate shows where i'm using DL2's or Catalyst and fo my touring shows I use GrandMA now.

Used the MAXXYZ before, but it takes to lng to program on it.
