I have been a "phan" since the beginning of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom, and have seen many Phantom's, and none of them have impressed me as much as this guy. He is amazing.

You don't just get a 'rendition' with Rhydian....you get a 'performance'. There's a massive difference. There are very few singers who 'inhabit' songs like this young man does. You can tell he's 'in character' when he makes no reaction to the silly woman shouting out she wants his babies. If there's any justice in the music industry here's a superstar in waiting.

Rhydian was on a very small stage with just recorded back up music, and was truly outstanding - I just can't imagine how wonderful he'll sound on a big stage with a live orchestra and good acoustics in the building! If he gets to play Phantom I'll be going dozens of times! He's got something very special about him, the whole package - the voice, the looks, the ability to transform into the character and to top it all a genuinely loveable personality - the world is his now!

Reeal15, this guy can sing just about anything! You only have to look at the diversity of material he covered during X Factor to realise this is not only an amazing vocalist but also an incredibly versatile one. I've been trying to ananlyse just why he's so much better than other singers and I think, apart from his amazing natural vocal talent, it's due to the fact that he INHABITS songs, he doesn't merely sing them.

That last note lasts for NINETEEN FREAKING SECONDS!!! This man is simply awesome. Note how he deals so brilliantly with the lady bringing on the flowers too early. He's still in character right up until he's given her a kiss, slips out of character for the half smile and the 'stay' comment then straight back into character for that amazing last note. ALW is soooo going to sign this bloke for Phantom of Manhatten. I have a feeling there's a 'release clause' in his Syco contract.

Colm Wilkinson used to be my favourite Phantom singer, but Rhydian has surpassed him by far! Such style, and the voice is stupendous! Can't wait to see him play the part - this performance was fantastic beyond words, so on a West End or Broadway stage will be fab fab fab!
