Try 4lo, I have a bronco 2 i picked up for 400 bucks, it runs a hell of a lot better then that but it still lacks power. I learned because of these shitty engines, If you change the oil every 500-1000 miles and keep it geared low, they are awesome off road, They are very slow though and if you dont love it, it wont love you back.
LMFAO the hood scoop is the only reason that thing was running at all, that had to give it what? 15,20 horse power? Blow that motor having fun and get a used one in a junk yard for about $400 bucks
there's no oil pressure left in that engine, the lifters are collapsed so he's got no power.
2.9's cracked a lot of heads if you overheated them, the water gets in the oil, ruins the main bearings and then you lose oil pressure. the lifters are hydraulic so they collapse, then the valves don't open properly and you have no power.
rebuild the motor, or run some really thick oil or put some lucal oil stabalizer in the oil. those trucks are pretty solid, just have a few engine troubles.
Man, don't know what is wrong with his Bronco II but mine would have kicked that hills ass. Took mine to Uwharrie National Forest on the trails and it ran through em like butter. Something definately wrong with his.
