It's a real shame the Slaton/Devine/White Mountaineers never got a shot at the title. They definitely deserved a shot more than Ohio State. They will forever be remembered as the NCAA football versions of the Divac/Bibby/Webber Sacramento Kings, of the early millenium. I am still angry at the west virginia o-line. They break down on every play. there were so many rushes where the o-line broke down and he only got 10 yards when someone as good as him should have gotten a touchdown. Jahvid Best's O-line is the 2nd or 3rd in the country which is why he only has to dodge or outrun 1-3 players to break off a big run. It's not fair because they both are really good but the o-lines make the comparison between them altered.
