Les Paul, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Hendrix and Buddy Holly. What do they all have in common besides their extreme talent for guitar and all being posthumously celebrated by this post? They will never be respected by me generation (I'm 15) and that makes me sad.
@ASquared007 yeah i spelled it wrong, i knew after I posted, but it's no big deal. And why be such a jackass? I didn't attack you did I? ah well, I'll forgive, it can't be helped. And don't think that I don't know those people. But the names you mentioned aren't dead. (spare for Muddy Waters) My comment reads "posthumous" as I recall. I also seem to have said "me" instead of "my". Oh well.
A few pedals, a Roland JC120 amp, his guitar, and Les Paul...... with more talent and innovation in one arthritic pinky than most of the people who have walked the Earth combined. RIP Les; hope you and Mary are together again, and making heavenly music!

@Maskedfreakinabox You forgot Chuck Berry, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and countless others... Know your rock roots... And it's Jimi Hendrix, not Jimmy.

I can't believe the man played guitar till the day he died. Most musicans don't. They quit either they lose interest or get to old. Amazing. Musican

OK, how inspiring is Les Paul at 93... still about as close as most players can get to him is a name on their guitar.

This is Les Paul's best song in my opinion. I'm only 14 but I still love this :). It will be sad when he dies, he's a legend.
