@Emblemz No, not really possible at all with Movie Edit Pro. That stuff is all done with 3D rendering and aftereffects. Nothing at all like what Magix has.
@TheDailyNewsPost You should probably go on CNET and download 17 Plus and try it out for the trial period. Make sure it is stable on your machine, as 16+ is not very stable on my machine, as it turns out.
@MindPower009 Interesting. I've had ME PRO 16 since it came out and have had no problems. I was curious about upgrading to 17 as well. But I'm more interested in the Movie Edit Pro... the one that's $399.
do you have to register on site for this softhware? do you have to upgrad it or is it ok? i just want to know if i get it i will be puting it on a laptop with no internet on it
is this better or is MAGIX MOVIE EDIT PRO 16 Plus better?
do you need the internet to use this?
will it work on a laptop with no internet but if a registered on the site on the pc with the internet
I just downloaded Magix Video Deluxe 16 Premium. Now i see that another version already appeared. Can someone tell me what are the main differences of the two programs?
@LesMuise Since they usually release the next version in Europe about 6 months before they do it here in the USA, We don't get to see it here. I dunno what the features are. Hopefully it's a lot more stable than 16+.
@MindPower009 oh i did noz now that it takes 6 months to bring it to you. if you are interested in their new product, maybe using google will help. . ."Magix Video Pro X2" , it costs about 300€ in europe. i do not even now if it is a new version of the program i mentionen, but it is their latest program.
@LesMuise Oh Video Pro X came out at the same time as Movie Edit Pro 16+ (Video Deluxe Premium). MEP17 is on its way soon if it's not already out in Germany.
@ieatyellow the main difference most people will notice between 16 and 16+ is that + has 99 tracks (as opposed to I think 12), and supports AVCHD (blu-ray) format.
Hi thanks for replying. I haven't tried either program's Demo yet but - if I (and if my COMPUTER) get(s) on with Magix I'm thinking of switching from Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 (from 2003).
Are there good keyframing choices in both versions ? Does it pre-render (like Premiere) so that every time you make a small alteration you don't have to re-create the ENTIRE sequence?
@SuperDuperUberTuber from my familiarity with Premiere, I would say you'll find many things similar in behavior, although I think the track layout is turned upside down (top tracks are on bottom, etc). as for keyframe animation, if you want a good example of how it works, I have a good keyframe tutorial for Movie Edit Pro 15+ called "How To Make Your Videos FLY", also on this channel, have a look-see! :)
I currently use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 (released 2003) but I'm interested in switching NLEs. Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus (HD) is a lot cheaper than Magix Pro X 2. I'd like to know what it provides that the more affordable program does not.
@SuperDuperUberTuber There are 5 big differences to me. 1, The level of customer service & support for Video Pro X is higher, as it should be. 2. Up to four camera feeds can be used in Multi-Cam mode. 3. Magix 3D Maker (a KILLER 3D title animator with textures, bevels, axis controls, shading etc) is included, 4. More stable than Movie Edit Pro/VideoDeluxe and 5. Render time is MUCH faster for VPX than MEP.
I love editing videos, but i'm stuck with windows movie maker... i can't afford any other programs... thank you peoplestring!! if i get enough then i will probably get a good program

@jackie20ization It's not free. 17+ is out and you can download a trial version from CNET. It will probably retail for about $90.
