Basic, but simple and effective in showing the working of the worm gear. A sweet little tutorial. Good work.

actually not terribly long, there is an awesome tool to use for it you can make on a laser cutter.

Uhh... yes? Let me clarify, there is an awesome tool for making a spur gear, which my friend lent me after she made it ona laser cutter. It is a jig for bending spur gears so you still set it all up and decide the size of the gear and bend and solder and then the rest is freehand.
