  • At least the drums were ok.

  • That sucks man

  • -_____-

  • Ohhhh nooooooo!!! D: Someone fell. DX Im scared I'll fall now.

  • This video has more views than it should

  • at least run back to your spot!!!

  • the band looks like... NUTCRACKERS!!!

  • it's all funny... until YOU fall. then it's: hilarious if during a rehearsal, mortifying if during a performance, and painful no matter what. lol I fell on a saxophone rookie!!! (I'm a mello player!)

  • It was part of the show.

  • is the fail that one person walking or is that the soloist?

  • lol band fail

  • @Anneviona I used to tell arrow to the knee jokes.. . . . . Then I took and arrow to the knee #trollface

  • I used to fail at band like that, but then I took an arrow to the knee . . .

  • hmmmmmmmm Marching Band puns This makes the world better!!!:)

  • OUCH!!

  • I expected people dying. Too BAD!

  • HAHAHAHA

  • hey at least they fall in time :P

  • oh wow. at leat they some what recovered/

  • is the fail the electric guitar in a marching band?

  • ooooohhhh myyyyyyy never have I've seen such a recovery.

  • wow. someone needs a little more time at band camp b4 the competition! xD lmao

  • 00:28

  • ill just tell Squilliam you all died in some sort of marching accident....

  • i remeber this harrpening with the dumbass clarinets ... on concret at rehersal

  • This is gunna give me night mares

  • when i saw the title..all i thought was of squidward

  • recorded with a toaster

  • The date says Sept 15th. I'm guessing first or second show of the year - so sh*t like this is bound to happen. Why the Garfield Cadets got a perfect score in marching execution at DCI Midwest (Whitewater) in 1984 doing the same thing. Needless to say our staff (Blue Devils) went APE at the judges critique

  • oh i see it

  • where's the accident?

  • When a mistake happens like that, the people that fall need to roll out of the way...sitting there and trying to get up in the form is not very bright. I understand it probably disoriented them for a little, but after the person in front of you trips on you, it should be enough to realize that more are coming your way. lol

  • hahaha!! I have to say I have been there and done that...TWICE!! At least when it happened to me it was only at practice!

  • saw it first time :)

  • epic pile up

  • this is how complete trust in your fellow band members can sometimes lead to disaster on the field, but a really hilarious memory, especially since it was captured on video.

  • lol thumbs up if you caught it on the first time!

  • Hey at least they didn't stop marching. At all of the band competitions I have gone to, you get bonus points if a judge is in your way and you run into him/her. So basically you should never stop marching for anything, and I applaud them for that.

  • @Jaleb100 you dumbass, you dont get bonus points, you just dont get points taken off!

  • Maybe if they could march in time and with good technique that would not happen :P

  • lol i bet the one guy that made it through felt like a pro

  • The best drum and bugle corps over the years have made that mistake. Cavaliers 2001 opener at Disney Wild World of Sports in Orlando,F and another fall at finals.....and they still came out on top and actually ended up taking the gold that year. I'm just trying to say that sh!t happens. If it happens to the best then it couldn't be all bad for it to happen in a high school band. What's impressive is how they recover and carry on and push to the finish. So...I don't think this is funny.

  • @iluvperkushun They moved at a halt...

  • Bravo to the one guy who didn't crash!

  • Neck *y1love(dam auto correct)

  • y1lice that's terrible. I hope your friend will feel better soon. And for all the pricks that think this is funny. I feel sry for you guys.

  • i didn't catch the mess up?

  • Aww. :/

  • sure hope that wasnt a competition!!

  • @TheChuck624 no im not to this day she still has to do physical therapy caz the tenor sax bell hit her in the lower spine and u can kiss my ass caz u truely have no idea what ur tlkn about and since i was one of the ppl who fell and got a baritone bell in the sholder n spranged my rotur cuff in my left arm

  • what is the accident

  • IDK about all the idiots making comments that are so F*cking rude but I was one of those people who fell and my Best friend actually ended up in the hospital and almost lost her ablility to walk because she got up and finished the entire show so scrw off! it wasnt funny

  • @y1love you are full of shit.

  • Someone needs a Band-Aid lol XD

  • Haha, that will be our band next year, lol.

  • are u recording with a mango or something

  • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7!!!

  • was this at citezens field!?

  • I like how the camera guy moves to see the accident haha

  • They died in a marching band accident

  • Thats what happens when ur in a core style band...

  • Lol you can only recover an accident like that with a band-aid!

  • @DaEuph -_-

  • @DaEuph Lol

  • @DaEuph BA-DA TSS!

  • @DaEuph oh wow did u even make dat up

  • @amoneyterrell1 I actually did! I usually don't comment on videos. But I just love band..

  • @DaEuph

    I think you mean

You can only recover an accident like that with a

    *puts on sunglasses*

    band-aid

    YYYYEEEEEAAAAAH!

  • "We're An Accident Band"

  • Yah I've seen it be in the back before with the band in front of it but never in the middle like that

  • Is that the pit at the middle of the field, with people dancing on their heads? O.o

  • I didn't notice the bad swing off

  • I think that the important part about screwing up in band is recovering. I once took a fall at a competition, (stupid astro turf) got back up and got into the next form. We went on to get a superior score even after that.

  • XD FAIL! lol jk

  • tsk tsk tsk there's a reason you're on your tippy toes when you backstep and have proper spacing for intervals :P

  • thank god this is not their state/competition year/ performance~!~

  • and that is why you have to split your spacings. lol

  • omg i would've died if that happened to me.

  • eheheh... "We're an American band"...

i hate that song when we play it..

  • you role away when that happens. of coarse this halppened to me at band camp . we were doin a curve slide thing, the person to the right of me was marching rofward and i and the person to my left were marching backwards. when i fell i tried to role. but that doesnt work with a trombone especially when every one is marching back words torwards you :)

  • Comment removed

  • They need to work on their spacing when backward marching. Having a good interval between people helps avoid colision, and when marching backward being up on your toes keeps your balance and a steady stream of air.

  • @hrslvr32 True. My friend broke his arm after tripping over someone who fell. but i must say they could of recovered a little quicker.

  • "Get out of my way or I'll run your ass over" - Words from my band director

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA OMG!

  • Well my band director does always tell us "If they don't start marching when they should, run them over."

  • They suck.

  • this drill was to complex for them to handle the director should have know that

  • i saw a trombone fly! is it okay? (i love how im more concered about the instrument then the people!)

  • @thecoolinator007 I actually didn't see that until you pointed it out. Yea why is that? Is that even allowed??

  • I'm pretty sure that ruined any chances of winning state XD

  • i had to watch this a few times to catch it

  • @nmms0999 wow.

  • @nmms0999 Lol same here :P

  • when you said accident i thought they pisssed their pants.

  • O:

  • :O oh my gosh I feel so bad!!

  • Wait... I didn't see the accident!!!!

  • @PRIORITY60 Around 30 seconds look to the left of the screen you can see people tripping over people over people over people over instrument over people... Oh the intrumentality...

  • if you want to know how many people fell

they were 8.... What a shame xD

  • WHY IS THE PIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD?!?!?!?

  • @thecoolinator007 good question

  • I remember the end of my flute fell off during a half time show...and I pretended to play, but when we moved I was all the way on the other side...so I felt really embarrassed xD

  • i didnt even notice what happened the first time...

  • what a shame. but damn hilarious.

  • Thank god for holds.

  • Never, ever EVER move at attention! What are they thinking? I'm on color guard, and even if we smack our faces with our poles, we KEEP ON SMILING AND STAND LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED!!!

  • There's nothing like being an armchair drum-major.

  • If u didn't c it 0:28 top left corner

  • "IS THE.......

    Instrument ok? "

    -our director

  • @1xskaterguyx11 lmao thats wat my band director wud say

  • i would have cursed each one of them out simply because they did not make any attempt to get up immediately and HAUL ASS TO THEIR SPOT.

  • at first, i thought there was a streaker...

  • I don't get it.

  • @sum41t0ns look in the top left of the band

  • ahh this reminds me of freshman year.... i had to jazz run backwards and i was in between these two GIANTS (im pretty short). i clipped the foot of the one behind me, and i fell with my trombone. the guy i clipped kept going like nothing happened, but the guy in front of me literally LEAPED over me and i got out of the way before the others came. i still dont know how he did it

  • @JoeShmoe102 Reminded me of MY freshman year when i fell backwards and lost one of my molars. I play tuba. We marching back into some body movements and i completely ate it.

  • @Charbarita i march contra now xD im reeealy glad i havent fallen with that thing

  • hey, at least there wasnt a sousa involved right ?!

  • I think the guy that fell stepped and tripped on the guy behind him. He has got to be laughing his head off.

  • Did they seriously just move in a hault? Even if you're off, you NEVER move in a hault!

  • 6 other members fell down along with the first one! That sucks. At least you didn't have a tuba on. Then it would really suck.

  • Don't let your heel touch the ground while marching backwards!

  • My nickname in my Band is- Dont Lock your knees Jake-.... Wanna Guess how i got it??

  • @JakersSnakers36 you kept locking your knees and kept passing out?! hahaha i used to do that all the time!

  • :u They should've just stood there, looked confident, and acted like it was suppost to happen. (Quote from our teacher)

  • @ChibiTay - Exactly. I was shocked to see that those band members weren't even in their next formation as the rest of the band was going to continue on. They'd end up behind again. If they were being scored in a competition, well - it'd be a laugh.

  • mine would have said the same

  • If proper marching technique is being used, you will not fall!

  • @PantherJM15 Not true, sometimes, it's inevitable. Especially on some of the insanely bad grass fields. I've had to march on one that literally had a hole over a foot deep.

  • My band director would stop the whole damn show >> then again the person that fell during my thing was a tuba player....scary ass shit D:

  • I can't tell if they were marching backwards and went down on their heels or ran into a judge... Either way it would suck.

  • Stay on your toes, bitch.

  • like if you have dinkles

  • My band director says of we run over a judge and or hit them he will give us extra credit and love us haha :)

  • My band director and section leader say if sumone falls or if a judge is in the way we have the right 2 run them ovr.

  • LOL....my director would kill us if that happened....they're stupid for moving during a hault...

  • Is anyone else much more disturbed by the tone quality of the band?

  • Most boring drill ever...

  • I love how the marchers behind the one who fell also proceeded to fall; practically unconscious of their surrounding environment like amateurs.

  • moving at attention who the fuck does that

  • this is great considering i start marching band as a freshman next year i am scared now lol

  • @recoverym88 Don't worry. I am a freshman now and as long as you are marching in front of the other freshmen your chances of tripping on them is very unlikely :D The reason why they fell was because they were rolling back onto their heels while going backwards. Also they had very bad knee bend...

  • that usually happens when you walk backwards.

  • When I saw "Marching Band Accident" I thought of spongebob

  • How the fuck did Shane Dawson's vids get me here?!?!

  • @csinosmagyarlany66 I got here from darth vader... and I don't know what happened, but I'm okay with that.

  • my band sucks but we've never done anything like that

  • DOMINOHNOES!

  • If our band would have moved during a HOLD both our drum major and director would have cut our heads off. Even if we where bleeding and broken

  • I hope those horn players didnt lose any teeth with their mouthpieces XD

  • Oh ye when u fall you walk straight back like nothin happen.

  • Hahaha hope it doesn't happen to me.

  • AHAHAHAHAHA nice our Marching Band Did something like that once:)

  • Trust fall. Trust fall. Trust fall. Trust fall. Trust fall.

  • Can anybody say, "Metal Mouth"?

  • At least they play good.

  • that kind sir is a HUGE marching band what is that liik 250 people?

  • We had someone twist their ankle during band camp because he roll stepped into a hole. We also had the head drum major get ran over by a scissor lift the director was driving.

  • the domino effects are always funny XD

  • last year during a competition one girl just fell over and stopped...she said she had a problem with her ankle before so she sat out every practice and yet she would run around after with no problem...she never used her crutches and she walked fine. so our band instructor kicked her out because she wasn't committed to being a part of the band.

  • Okay 1st did anyone notice the one guy who made it unscathed while the whole thing was going on? xD but seriously all you people who think marching band is easy, I speak as a freshman its just like any other sport you sweat to death and work hard, if you still don't believe me then you try it =P it's one of those harder than it looks things

  • damn I wish our away bleachers were full like that

  • where be da pit?

  • We were at a competition last weekend and a tuba player fell while marching backwards..it got stuck below her butt and she couldn't pull it back up..so she decided to put it down on the middle of the field and step out of it..the band director finally just pulled her off the field... XD

  • thats what you get for 1. back steping weird and 2. going through a hold. god, pay attention

  • NO MOVING DURING A HOLD. jeez people. ever go through camp. we're off for the weekend if we ever did something like that. I don't think most people would have noticed if they hadn't all moved.

  • man, some funky conducting going on lol.

  • lol

  • Somebody didn't teach their band how to address an arc. Smh.

  • CRABS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was waiting for the dominos to happen

  • @Greenfunkeymonkey that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank goodness our hasn't done that yet.

  • I'm a trombonist too, if you are playing so loud your lips bleed, you either have major problems or you sound like shit. Your lips don't bleed that easily from the t bone. But when your blasting duhh it will

  • Hey I'm a 10 th grade trombonist and is really hard to do marches and a 3 pound trombone can hurt really bad after holding it at play position and you have to play so loud your lips sometimes bleed

  • @crazitaco, thats mean marching is hard!

  • Marching band is actually very challenging... Dealing with laps, band camp, and hitting your charts efficiently, it's as challenging and real as any other sport !! :)

  • @Lib3rtyPrime while it isnt a sport by any means, i do think youre underestimating how hard it is. you need a lot of well developed skills, and you have to use them all at once, in perfect form and synchronization

  • I miss these days! It's been years ago for me but many good bad & hysterical memories!

  • and we practice for three to four hours every day and 7am rehersals and before performances

  • @Lib3rtyPrime you are not in marching band obviously so what gives you the right to say what is easy and whats not? i bet you couldn't last 30 min in a band rehersal because in my band we sprint back to set we rep stuff hundreds of times over at 180 beats per minute cause thats are opener and closer plus having to play fortissimo and still have air for running afterwards. so dont tell me that its impossible to injure yourself because it happened to our fifth bass drum player.
