What Do I Need to Attach To My Amended Tax Return?

What about the state form? 1040X is federal only right? Is the state form suppose to look the same even after amending? The federal 1040X amend form looks different from the reg. federal form and thats whats confusing me because state doesn't seem to have a special amendment form just the same form you would use for the first filing, so after I amend (add more w-2's) I just send the reg. state forms that print out like I would the first time? A answer to this would be appreciated.
