dry weather meant less sighting, but now, after a certain point, it has to find a suitable area. Im sure its not just one, but many. Living throuought the world. When its hot and dry, no worries. When its hot and dry for a long time, be afraid. Thats all i have to say on the subject.

The theory is some of the cats hid up under the hood and "it" tried to get them there.

i think that if it was 7 feet high it might have been tall enough to get them.

4 or 7 foot tall or whatever something tore the van up. Height does help but not mean everything when trying to get through the hood. Many cats were reported missing. So "IF" this "thing" had long arms as taller things usually do it may have reached in through the fenderwells and got more cats. My comment was simply as to why it would attack a metal/plastic and likely untasty inanimate objects for "fromkhadija" who wondered why a created would attack the van. It may have very well gotten them.

notice that lately, due to climate being warmer, there have been less sightings, so now, im sure the creature, is staying away from its natural area, deep within the swamp. I dont know much, and im not exactly an outdoor person, but i have a thoery and a belief. Ive been following stories like this forever. Notice how in swamp/tropical areas there are creatures. "Chupacabra" "lizardman" and more. Look hard enough, and you will find. Whether or not your ready, is up to you.

hey i live in sc. As i grew up, ive always lived on the same street. This place, is near a swamp. Longs, Sc. Not exactly close to bishopville, but still. The Swamp, i traversed many times. Its directly behind my house. And still i get nightmares. Im honestly petrified of the swamp. My dogs used to bark constantly at it. but they stopped. I think during especially wet seasons, is when the "lizard man" comes out. It can venture further during wet seasons for some reason. Im a believer

Ok, if I find out, I'll let you know.  Who knows what it is or if it exists? There are many creatures around that are just under our radar. They've been finding many amazing things the past few years: a caterpillar that eats meat, giant animals in the waters near Indonesia, animals whose survival has nothing whatsoever to do with the sun...

I would have to search....if I remember correctly they found them (fish and other water-dwellers)in underground caves that the ocean went through. It was somewhere in Indonesia or Malaysia. I will try to find it for you, I read about it about two years ago.

well..there were bipedal dinosaurs with hands..like raptors. If there was one it seems to me that they would have evolved from raptors. Before there were mammals, i dont see why there couldnt have been reptilian creatures that walked upright like humans do.

I know its not a mountain lion or even a bear. The car seems to have green marks if you look closely. So for a bear very unlikely.

:) I thought of that too but what about the bite marks on the hood? The people in that vicinity are not "humorous" if you know what I mean and they don't like attention. Even thought the US is one country we have many "subcultures" and the personalities are very different depending on where you go. That being said, who knows? The damage to the car is pretty unusual. Had he shot up his own van, the neighbors would have said something about it. :P

The news station is testing the blood on the van. They stated that it will take about 3 weeks. I'll keep you posted, ha ha. :P

It might have been a hungry bear trying to reach the cats under the car or something.
