I live in west texas, hogs are becoming an epidemic, they breed like a virus, destroy hundreds of millions of dollars in crops, and the native wildlife cannot compete with them successfully. it hurts me to see skin and bones deer eating tree bark and leaves (not part of their usual diet) because hogs have hit an area like a plague of locusts. Even tended livestock cannot compete with these things. It is really bad. They are destroying ecosystems left and right in the southern united states.

Without it, the population would explode, animals would encroach into society more and more, and as numbers continued to rise, all species would begin to be in greater competition for food and resources, causeing them to starve and die slow deaths from disease among other things, and it's fun and a good way to put variety in your diet.

Ok. I would not take a shot that would leave an animal wounded and cause it to suffer a lingering death over a period of days. Killing one on the first shot with minimal suffering is what I strive for. Im not perfect, but if I don't have a clean kill shot, I dont fire. An ethical shot is one that will cause the animal minimal suffering and a quick, relatively painless death. Did that clear things up for you? If not, let me know.

My favorite hunting is bird hunting and I have been responsible for the conversion of countless birds into tasty dishes for my table. Duck is my favorite among birds, both to hunt and eat. I think I already told you, I work 37-40 hrs per week, attend classes at Northwest Florida State college on tuesdays and thursdays, and on monday nights, wednesday nights, and sunday mornings and nights, I go to church. During hunting season, ill get up @ 4 or so every sat. and go hunting, or killing if you like, and then when I get home I get my day started.

There, if you take the right classes, you will learn that animals have no emotion and that hunting is a necessary part of ecosystem management, especially when non native pests have been introduced. I personally dont hunt, but that doesnt make a difference on my opinion of it. I support hunting and fire arms very strongly and have all the hunting licenses i can and do everything i can to support it and fight Obamas campain too break down fire arms. My comments were no more idiotic than yours were. Hunting serves a vital purpose in control of the populations and rations of populations of almost all animals. Without it, the population would explode, animals would encroach into society more and more, and as numbers continued to rise, all species would begin to be in greater competition for food and resources, causeing them to starve and die slow deaths from disease among other things, and it's fun and a good way to put variety in your diet.

Ok. I would not take a shot that would leave an animal wounded and cause it to suffer a lingering death over a period of days. Killing one on the first shot with minimal suffering is what I strive for. Im not perfect, but if I don't have a clean kill shot, I dont fire. An ethical shot is one that will cause the animal minimal suffering and a quick, relatively painless death. Did that clear things up for you? If not, let me know.

Ok man, look, he paid good money that he worked hard for for the corn that the hog was eating out of his feeder. If it was my feeder, i probably would have shot and killed the hog, but he obviously didnt want to ruin his hunt, which is what a gunshot would have done. I dont think it is right to fatally injure an animal but not kill it, thats why i take ethical shots, but this animal was obviously not fatally injured.

My favorite hunting is bird hunting and I have been responsible for the conversion of countless birds into tasty dishes for my table. Duck is my favorite among birds, both to hunt and eat.
