  • Late to the party, but I just wanted to thank you for posting these tutorials. I'm new to the uke (well, to musical instruments in general). And I just love this piece (Malaguena) but had no earthly idea how to begin with it until I stumbled across your videos. I don't have it down cold yet, but I'm getting there thanks to your clear instructions. Muchas gracias! ;-)

  • @bettycracker

great to hear that my tutorial has been helping you. I really appreciate you leaving the feedback, but more importantly, I'm happy that I can help you with your musical journey.

    Happy playing

  • i was actually doing good up to tutorial 2.. but when i was trying tutorial 3, my pinky cannot reach the 6th fret with my middle finger on the 3rd fret.. can you help me with this?? please?

is it because i have short fingers or i need to develope my finger stretching skills??

  • Hi jbeh07,

it will definitley take you while to build strength in your pinky finger. Try not to rush through learning the piece really fast, but be patient. It will happen and you will probably have to keep practicing the other two parts.

  • ill keep that in mind ;) thanx very much! you inspire me ;)

  • Happy to help,

practice hard and most of all, enjoy yourself.

  • Tab?

  • nice job on the last of your series!

  • thanks Russ

  • Thanks again for these tutorials SSS! This one is great for stretching! It's nice to practice with something that sounds good as well.

  • Thanks 1412, glad your enjoying the videos and improving as a uke player. Look forward to your next video.

  • This makes my fingers all a-twisted.

  • Thanks deach, hope you enjoy practicing and playing it.
