First up...I hate how "trailers" give every punchline in a movie!

I just saw this for the first time on AMC and laughed my ass off! Sheer ignorance on my part - I'd never heard of it and love Coen brother movies! Whether you love Clooney or not....he's fantastic in this! A must see if you like an older style of screwball comedy romance.

Funny movie. One of my favorite Coen Bros. films, the other being Barton Fink. George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones both did a grand job.

BTW, the Rex Rexroth character reminds me of Jack Lemmon as Shelley Levene from Glengarry Glen Ross (the voice, mannerisms, and desperation say it all). Anyone else find them similar?

@tommenright This movie is actually good, in a satire, rom-com kind of movie. a bit like Burn After Reading. The script is superb, and the tongue-in-cheek references to dissolved marriages is funny yet absolutely true.

Every time I watch this DVD, (Front projection-80 inches) It just puts a smile on my face...and I'm in a great mood. Another film that is wild and delights, is The Tenth VIctim...easily available on DVD, and be sure to watch it in english with NO subtitles...
